Chapter 1381

Chapter 1381

Blythe flashed a not-so-pretty smile. “Chill, I won’t do anything stupid. No man’s worth shedding tears

over, especially a bad one. I’m crying for myself

Seeing her understanding, Estelle didn’t say much, patted her shoulder lightly, and left.

Stepping out of the room, the sunlight felt too intense.

It was the tail end of summer, but the weather was still scorching hot, making one feel irritable. Estelle

quickly headed towards her car

On the way to the 9th Mansion, the image of Blythe crying her heart out kept popping up in Estelle’s

mind. She frowned and tried to calm herself down. Traffic was heavy, and by the time she reached her

destination, it was already dark. The sunset was not vibrant today, like a layer of grey mist, casting a

gloomy vibe over J City.

Estelle parked her car and walked towards the 9th Mansion. Behind her, she heard Harriet’s voice, novelbin

“Estelle!”

Estelle turned around, showing a bright smile. Thought I was the last one to come.”

Harriet raised an eyebrow, “With Sophia’s character, we should be the first ones here.”

As expected, when they reached the private room, it was empty. They sat down, and a few minutes

later, Jason arrived; Sophia was still not there. Harriet called her, and Sophia’s crisp voice rang out,

“You guys are already there? Robin and I are stuck in traffic. Don’t worry, go ahead and order!”

Harriet laughed, “Isn’t it a bit cheeky to order without the host?”

Sophia replied, “Don’t be so formal; order away!”

“We won’t be formal, but today isn’t your treat!” Harriet teased.

Sophia laughed, her voice full of joy and happiness. Then wait for us; we’ll be right there!”

“Alright!” Harriet hung up, smiling. “Love really does change a woman!”

Jason whispered, “Are they living together now?”

Harriet raised an eyebrow, “I don’t think so. Sophia still lives in her college apartment. Robin’s company

is far from there, he probably lives nearby” Harriet grinned, “Estelle and Sophia both have boyfriends

and we, the oldest, are still single.”

Jason smiled, “You should ask your boss if she’s keeping you too busy.”

Estelle added another spoon of sugar to her coffee and shot Jason a look, “Stop stirring the pot!

Harriet softly said, “I’m dedicated to my boss for life. I don’t mind being single forever.”

Estelle laughed, “Don’t say that. After the autumn-winter fashion show, I’ll give you a few more days

off!”

“Estelle is the best!” Harriet smiled at Estelle.

Jason scoffed, “Estelle does nothing, paints a pretty future, and you’re satisfied? No wonder you’re

spoiling her!”

Estelle turned to Jason, “Are you in a bad mood today?”

Jason’s face darkened, “No, I’m always like this. Aren’t you used to it?”

Harriet couldn’t help but laugh, “Jason is like this, nitpicking but also spoiling. If someone treated me

like that, I wouldn’t mind a few criticisms!”

“Do you like that type?” Estelle raised an eyebrow, “That’s great; I think you two are quite suitable.”

Harriet laughed, “Forget it, I can’t afford to pursue someone like Jason!”

As they all laughed heartily, the door to the private room was pushed open, Sophia’s voice arriving

before she did.

“Hey, my lovely friends, come on and greet me!”

Estelle turned to look, and behind Sophia walked a man in a blue-striped shirt. He was handsome, with

calm and intelligent eyes, obviously a successful man.
