Chapter 1318

Chapter 1318

Jonathan cut to the chase: "Where are you?"

Estelle mentioned the name of the bar.

The tone of Jonathan's voice sank a bit. "Are you and Magdalene knocking back drinks?"

"I'm fine, but Magdalene has been hitting the bottle pretty hard!"

Estelle glanced around to see Magdalene and Kevin deep in conversation, hitting it off famously.

“I'm coming to get you guys now!" Jonathan instructed, "Don't wander off and don't chat with any

strangers."

Meanwhile, Estelle thought to herself, Magdalene was already thick as thieves with someone else!

"Alright!"

Estelle hung up the phone after she responded.

She ordered a glass of water from the waiter, turned around to find Magdalene, but noticed a man in

the not-so-far distance sneakily taking pictures of Magdalene and Kevin.

Magdalene was too tipsy to realize that she and Kevin were sitting close enough to be in each other's

back pockets.

Estelle’s face changed, and she hurled the glass of water at the peeping tom.novelbin

The glass hit the man's arm; he winced in pain, losing his grip on his phone, which hit the floor.

Ignoring the pain in his arm, the man rose hastily to retrieve his phone.

But Estelle had already beat him to the punch, scooping up the phone. Seeing him reach for it, she

sent him flying with a swift kick.

The man hit a chair, too pained to even stand up.

Everyone in the bar rose to their feet, clueless about what had just happened.

Estelle opened the photo album on the phone to find over a dozen sneaky shots of Magdalene. The

photos had been taken at specific angles, making it seem like Magdalene and Kevin were cozying up.

Estelle scrolled through the album; her expression grew more serious. She walked over to the man,

yanked him up by his shirt, and demanded coldly, "Who told you to snap these pictures of Magdalene?"

The man realized he was in deep water, looking panic-stricken and full of regret. He immediately

apologized, saying, "I messed up. I just thought she was gorgeous and couldn't resist the urge to sneak

a few pictures. It was a moment of weakness; I meant no harm."

Magdalene chimed in, "What's going on?"

Estelle showed the man his phone and said, "Your album is filled with mundane daily life pictures, so

you're not in the habit of snapping pictures of others. Your shots of Magdalene today weren't a

coincidence; you'd better come clean. Who put you up to this?"

The man turned paler but insisted it was a spur-of-the-moment decision and had nothing to do with

anyone else.

Magdalene took the phone, saw the pictures, immediately fumed, and delivered a swift kick to the

man's groin: "You dare to take my pictures; are you asking for a death wish?"

The man doubled over in pain after Magdalene's kick, rolling around on the chair in agony.

The crowd in the bar gathered around, whispering amongst themselves.

Estelle walked up to the man, grabbing him by his shirt to pull him up, and said coldly, “I'm asking you

one more time, who put you up to this? If you don't spill, I'm calling the cops right now!"

The man instantly hit the floor, begging for mercy: "Please let me go. I just had a bit too much to drink

and thought she was pretty, that's all"

"If you call the cops, I'll lose my job and be left with nothing!"

"Please, give me a break; this is my first time, and I swear it won't happen again!"

The man was on his knees, sobbing and begging constantly.

Onlookers started to chime in, "You've already won; he didn't invade your privacy; why be so harsh?"

"Yeah, he only took your picture because you're pretty; he didn't invade your privacy!"

"He looks so pitiful; if you really call the cops, he'll definitely lose his job!"
