Chapter 1248

Chapter 1248

Estelle gave a surprised look, then deliberately said, “Isn’t it just Jonathan taking a photo for your

parents? What kind of special attitude is needed? Is he unwilling to do such a simple thing?”

Henson frowned, “You know he’s pissed off, you think he’ll give you the time of day?”

Estelle replied seriously, “If he ignores me, I’ll just bail.”

Henson said, “Estelle, Jonathan seems icy on the outside, but he’s really a softy. Just butter him up a

bit more and he’ll forgive you.”

Estelle replied, “I haven’t done anything wrong, why do I need his forgiveness?”

Henson said, “That’s him for you. Even if he argues with my grandpa, he won’t easily back down!”

Hearing this, Estelle’s eyebrows twitched, “Seriously?”

Henson looked at her expectantly, “So, don’t pick a fight with him.”

Seeing Henson so anxious; Estelle couldn’t bear to tease him anymore. She nodded gently, and said,

“Alright, I’ll try.”

Henson said, “You’re way cooler than Jonathan, I really admire you!”

Estelle smiled, “Alright, I’m heading up there.”

Henson watched her excitedly, “Go get ’em!”novelbin

Seeing all this, Estelle couldn’t help but chuckle, then turned and left.

Once she got to the third floor, she couldn’t help but smile again. She walked up to Jonathan’s door

and gave a gentle knock.

The door opened quickly. Jonathan’s deep gaze met hers. He smiled and asked, “Estelle, what’s up?”

Estelle answered in a serious tone, “I came to discuss Henson’s studies with Mr. Lamont.”

Jonathan opened the door and let her in.

Henson was hiding around the corner of the staircase. Seeing Estelle enter after a few words, he

clenched his fists, cheering himself on.

After the door closed, Jonathan casually backed Estelle against it and gazed deeply at her, “Talk!”

Estelle’s eyes sparkled as she said with a smile, “What should I say?”

Jonathan chuckled, “You’re here to apologize, right? Suppose I’m still mad, how do you plan to sweet-

talk me?”

Estelle’s lips quirked up, “The other day you asked if I’d choose you or Manley, can I answer you now?”

Jonathan’s gaze deepened, he smiled, “Go ahead.”

Estelle lightly kissed his lips, then asked, “Do you know now?”

Jonathan laughed, his eyes shining, his lips curling, “Not sincere enough, try again!”

Estelle kissed him again, a gentle kiss.

“Unless I say stop, you can’t leave.” Jonathan’s deep gaze seemed to see through her, he murmured.

Estelle wrapped her arms around his neck, closed her eyes, and deeply kissed him.

Yesterday he had been the one to give in, today it was her turn to cajole him.

Jonathan carried Estelle to the couch, their kiss continuing as if to make up for the past regrets.

Ten minutes passed quickly. Estelle’s forehead leaned against his shoulder forcing him to stop, “I have

to head back to class.”

Jonathan whispered, “If you keep this up, Henson will know what we’ve been up to.”

Estelle paused, then reacted, “Are my lips swollen?”

“A bit.” Jonathan stared at her pink lips, his gaze deepening.

Estelle was a bit disgruntled, “Why didn’t you tell me earlier?”

“Do you really think I had the mind to think about anything else right now?” Jonathan whispered

amusedly.

Estelle closed her mouth, feeling a little stung, “So what do we do now?”

“I’ll call Henson, tell him you’re not coming, and let him study on his own.” Jonathan took her in his

arms indulgently, “Stick around with me a bit longer.”

Estelle chuckled, “Wouldn’t that make him overthink?”

“He’ll just be happy for us!”
