Chapter 1204

Chapter 1204

Estelle was feeling a bit jittery. She bowed her head

and murmured, “You should be focusing more on your studies; stop getting your knickers in a twist abo

ut adult stuff.”

Henson reiterated, “You’ve got to treasure Jonathan. If someone else snags him, you’ll be kicking yours

elf!”novelbin

Estelle scoffed, “So much for equal treatment. In your eyes, Jonathan has always been the favored one

, hasn’t he?”

Henson raised an eyebrow and asked, “Who said that? Every single word I say is for your

own good. Can’t you hear that?” Estelle replied blankly, I really can’t.”

“Oh, man!” Henson sighed. “I’m genuinely looking out for you, but you don’t appreciate it.”

Estelle looked at his feigned maturity and couldn’t help but laugh. “You should get ready for class.”

In the morning, while Emily and Kya were reading picture books together, they received a call from Gin

a.

Gina’s voice was filled with warmth and affection. “Emily, did you have a day off today?”

“Yes, I’m home with Kya.” Emily replied with a gentle smile.

Kya looked up, her bright eyes wide open, as if she had heard Gina’s words. She innocently asked, “Is

that Grandma?” Emily nodded at her,

“Was that Kya just now?” Gina laughed, “I haven’t met her yet! Emily, why don’t you bring Kya over now

? Everyone’s here.”

Seeing Kya’s expectant look, Emily nodded and said, “Okay, I’ll bring Kya over right now.”

“Great, we’ll be waiting for you!” Gina hung up the phone cheerfully.

Emily put down her phone and said to Kya, “Let’s change and go see your Grandma, okay?”

Kya clapped her hands excitedly and asked, “We’re going to see Grandma!”

Kya had often heard the term ‘Grandma‘ in fairy tales and nursery rhymes. In her mind, a Grandma wa

s a very kind person, and she was very curious about her own Grandma.

Emily pinched her adorable face and then got up to change.

The subway was even more crowded on the weekend. Emily, carrying Kya, had

to transfer four times before they reached the neighborhood where Elliott Sullivan lived. They

then bought some fruit from the supermarket across the street before heading upstairs.

Kya seemed a bit excited. She held Emily’s hand tightly, constantly asking, “Does Grandma live here?”

Emily walked out of the elevator with Kya, answering her questions as they went.

After ringing the bell, the door was opened by Elliott. Seeing Kya, he immediately broke into a

smile and exclaimed, “Is this Kya?”

Kya was a little scared of adult men. Seeing Elliott, she

became nervous and immediately clung to Emily’s hand.

Elliott picked up Kya, his heart filled with endless love.
