On Monday, Emily showed up on time at the James Group building, job application in hand.
Two years ago, she had worked here as well. But coming back now, her feelings were totally different.

As the elevator continued to ascend, she felt like she was getting closer and closer to Charlie. She was

years of experience in the company. But looking at your resume, you don’t meet this requirement.”
Emily didn’t know how to explain, so she just kept silent.
Tracy continued, “I don’t know how you got here, but let me tell you, if you’re not competent or
responsible, I’ll recommend that. the CEO fire you.”
