He dumped the whole pot and put it in the dishwasher. After taking a shower, he went to Estelle’s room
again.
Estelle was almost asleep. Feeling the man lying next to her, she naturally snuggled up to him, wanting
to ask him what he was doing, but she was too sleepy and quickly fell into a deep sleep.
Jonathan gently massaged Estelle’s belly with his hand, waited until she was sound asleep, and then
held her in his arms and closed his eyes.
The girl’s even breathing was probably contagious, and the drowsiness came to him suddenly. Holding
her tightly in his arms, he fell into a deep sleep as well.
The next day, when Estelle woke up, she found herself alone in the room, and the embrace from last
night felt like a dream.
She walked out and saw the man busy in the kitchen. She smiled softly, looked out the window, feeling
the warm sun making her comfortable.
Jonathan had ordered chicken soup from the hotel and was pouring it into a bowl. He heard her and
said, “Go wash your face and come have the soup.”
“Okay!” Estelle cheerfully agreed and went back to her room to wash up.
When she came out, there was steaming hot chicken soup on the table. Estelle said, “I thought you’d
make hot ginger water.”
Jonathan replied indifferently, “You think I’d make it for you? Dream on!”
Estelle sighed with relief, “Well, that’s a relief!”
Jonathan paused and looked up at her, their eyes met, and they both burst into laughter.
After breakfast, they left the house together. Jonathan drove Estelle to the University of J City before
heading to his company.
After they had left, a person hiding behind a tree took out his phone and sneaked away.
When Lucille saw the photos of Jonathan and Estelle walking out of the neighborhood together, she
couldn’t believe her eyes, followed by a heartache and cold feeling.
In the end, he would rather choose a tutor as a lover and wouldn’t even give her a second glance.
Her face, adorned with exquisite makeup, was filled with sadness, resentment, and disappointment.
She couldn’t understand why she was inferior to Estelle.

On Wednesday afternoon, Estelle accompanied Isis to a club activity, and by the time she was heading

She wanted to have some sauce noodles from a restaurant in the street nearby, she decided to walk
there since it wasn’t far.
The sky was not yet dark, and the area was bustling with various snack shops. The aroma of different
foods filled the warm air.
The store she usually went to had a long queue. Estelle thought about another store in the adjacent
street, and although it’s a bit remote, she decided to try it out.
When she came out with her noodles, a car suddenly stopped in front of her. A man in a suit got out of
the back seat and politely asked her, “Excuse me, miss, how do I get to the South Gate?”
Estelle gave him directions, “Turn left up ahead, walk about half a mile, then turn right, and you’ll see
the South Gate exit
“This place has such a complex layout. I’m not from here, so I’m afraid I won’t find it. Could you please
get in the car and show me the way? I can drive you back here afterward,” the man said with a smile.
Estelle stepped back, “I’m sorry, but I have things to do.”
