Chapter 34
After breakfast finished, Scott and his two friends went to a jewelry store in the middle of town. At that
time, in the car, Scott was the driver, Tom was sitting beside Scott, and Katie was sitting in the back
seat.
There wasn't much conversation going on, Katie was silent and Scott was silent also. Only Tom
occasionally looked at his two friends wondering what kind of conversation would break the silence.
Then he thought of a question that Katie might be curious about too.
"Scott," said Tom to his friend.
"Yeah," Scott answered.
“What if one day Lisa comes back to New York? What would you do? Are you moving with her to New
York or staying in Stowe? Then, are you planning to marry her soon?” asked Tom.
"That's what I'm still thinking and I don't know what I would do if we were apart. I'm not moving to New
York, I'm going to stay here taking care of my family's factory and business. And I will indeed marry her
before she returns to New York, marking her as mine because—” Scott replied.
"Because of what?" asked Tom curiously. Katie was also curious about Scott's explanation. She looked
at Scott and watched him intently.
“Because actually, Lisa can mate with Alpha from any pack. She is not tied to a single Alpha. So I
thought it would be best if I mark her as mine as soon as possible," Scott replied.
This made Katie happy, meaning Lisa could mate with Fred, and vice versa, because Fred wasn't tied
to one Luna either, he could mate with any Luna. It was a beautiful morning for Katie who had been
overcome by evil thoughts.
"It's better that way, Scott. You can discuss the next step with Lisa when you are camping later," said
Tom.
“Thank you for your support. I'm so lucky to have both of you by my side," Scott replied.
At the same time, their conversation ended when the car driven by Scott arrived in front of a jewelry
store. They immediately got off and entered the shop. There Katie helped Scott choose a diamond ring
that he will give to Lisa when he proposes to her later.
“Scott, what do you think of this ring? The model is beautiful and I think it fits in Lisa's hands," said
Katie.
"Yes, you're right. I think this ring is the best out of all of them. The diamonds are not too big nor too
small. All right, I'll buy this ring," Scott replied.
Without waiting any longer, Scott immediately bought the ring which was placed in a small red box
wrapped by a gold ribbon. He was very happy, he looked at the ring for a long time while smiling.
Elsewhere far from the jewelry store, Fred was driving his car to his secret, very secluded residence.
While playing his favorite music, he also sang along. Then, he arrived at his secret house and after
seeing and checking the situation around him, he entered the house which was greeted by severalnovelbin
members, two of them were ordered to install a surveillance camera in the room that would be used to
detain Lisa later.
"Is everything ready as I ordered?" Fred asked one of his members.
"Yes, sir, please check," he replied.
Fred immediately checked the room with enthusiasm. Spacious and luxurious rooms with modern
designs that have been equipped with all women's special equipment such as evening dresses, high
heels, lingerie, underwear, casual wear, slippers, makeup, and others. The man deliberately ordered
his subordinates to prepare everything completely, so that when Lisa is at the house, all her needs
were met.
"Good, everything was according to my request. Now it's just a matter of waiting for the right time to
bring her here and see if she's that special?” said Fred.
"Sir, that girl can mate with all the alphas, she's special," replied one of his men.
“Yeah, she can mate with all the alphas, not just Scott. She can be my luna also hahaha," said Fred,
laughing loudly.
“Then, what should we do next, Sir?” asked one of the members.
“Keep an eye on her every move and report it to me. When the time comes, we'll bring her here," Fred
replied.
Poor Lisa doesn't know that she is being targeted by someone who has bad intentions towards her. Her
mind now only focused on his grandmother, her brother, and Scott. She just wanted to make the most
of her short vacation time special, especially when she is going to go camping with Scott up the hill and
enjoy the natural scenery up close as she always wants.
Like that night, the day before she and Scott went camping, she sat by the window of her bedroom and
looked at the beauty of the star-studded night sky. While hugging her favorite doll, she continued to
stare and observe the night sky, it was near midnight, the moon looked perfect and full round. However,
that beauty was accompanied by a long howl like a wolf's howl.
Lisa, who had never heard a wolf howl in her life, immediately stood up and walked away from her
bedroom window. She shuddered in fear and couldn't believe everything she heard. She thought
maybe wolves were wandering around her grandmother's house, without her knowing that the howls
were the howls of werewolves on a full moon night.
Without thinking any longer, she immediately closed and locked her bedroom window, then closed it
with curtains. Then, she came out of her bedroom and ran downstairs to the first floor. She checked all
the doors and windows around the grandmother's house. After making sure everything was locked, she
went back up to her room. But before that, she peeked again through the window curtains trying to look
outside to see if it was true that the wolf was around the grandmother's house.
But, what she saw from a distance right at the house which was a block from Dorothy's house and
could be seen clearly from Lisa's bedroom window, was a wolf standing. Lisa was shocked and felt
very scared. Then, her mind said that the shape of the wolf she had seen on television was not like
that, but why was the wolf she had just seen so tall and looked like a human?
Could it be a werewolf? She thought.
No, impossible. There were no werewolves in this world, they were just stories that had been
circulating for thousands of years. How could a werewolf be real? She thought.
That innocent girl had absolutely no idea and was not aware of the werewolves around her. She only
knew the story from books and movies she had watched, and she would soon learn the truth that the
werewolf was nearby. Frightened, she immediately climbed into bed and covered her face with the
blanket.
The next morning, she woke up very early. After tidying up her room and taking a shower and looking
pretty, Lisa hurried down to the first floor and walked to the kitchen, where Dorothy was making
breakfast. While hugging her grandmother from behind, Lisa wished her good morning.
"Good morning, Grandma," said Lisa.
"Morning, sweetie. Did you sleep well?” Dorothy asked.
"No, last night I heard strange noises and I saw something scary thing," she replied as she sat at the
dining table drinking milk in a glass.
"What sound? And what did you see?” Dorothy asked as she turned off the stove and looked at Lisa.
She walked over to her granddaughter and sat across from her.
“I heard the howling of wolves and werewolves standing in an empty house one block from this house.
I'm really scared. What is it, Grandma? Did what I saw and heard real?” Lisa asked.
Dorothy was silent and lowered her head as she stared at the floor. Lisa was surprised by the
grandmother's unusual behavior. Then, she touched the grandmother's hand and asked, "Grandma,
are you ok?"
