Chapter 78 Yeager’s gaze turned cold, and he was extremely displeased. Meanwhile, Sadie gave the order bysaying, “Yeager, please kick Mr. Irvin out of the building!” Sadie was just as pleased with Chandler’scurrent situation as how arrogant he was during the meeting earlier. “Yes, Ms. Wolfenden!” Anothersecurity guard joined Yeager upon saying that, and they dragged Chandler out of the room. “How dareyou do this to me!? You b*st*rds!” Chandler shouted with all his might, but no one paid any attention to him. novelbin

Daryl initially wanted to snatch the contract as well, but he figured that it would be best for him to savehimself some grace after witnessing Chandler’s outcome. The boardroom quieted down substantially.Sadie took a glance at Kayson, her eyebrows furrowed, and her gaze was slightly peculiar. She foundthe incident that transpired today to be rather magical. Albert’s appearance turned the tables for them completely! Sadie looked toward Trevor and the othersand sneered after seeing their dejected expressions. She said, “Please leave Wolfenden Corp. now. We’re going to go over the share-distribution details with Mr. Carlson.” Trevor was shaking in anger, hiseyes bloodshot. He would have never pulled out of the company if he were to know that Albert would beinvesting in Wolfenden Corp. ‘Sadie! Liam!’ ‘It must be them who schemed against me!’ Trevor suppressed the regret and resentmentin his heart. He composed himself and said to the people around him, “They’ve shown us the door. Let’sgo then.”. Kayson glanced at Miles and said nonchalantly, “Mr. Lawson, what a waste that you’ve beenkicked out of the company before our bet has ended.” Miles’ expression was very unpleasant, and hesaid in an embarrassed, annoyed tone, “This is not over, boy! Just wait and see!” Upon saying that, heleft the boardroom instantly with a long face. Daryl stayed behind. He was all smiles when he lookedtoward Liam and said shyly, “Mr. Wolfenden… We’ve been close friends for many years.” At this point, hechose to play the friend card. However, how could Liam possibly fall for his friend card? He had alreadybetrayed him. “That’s not true, Mr. Dunn. We’re only acquaintances and not old friends.” Liam said nonchalantly,

“Please leave, Mr. Dunn. We’re about to engage in a classified discussion.” Daryl’s expression changeddrastically, and he was slightly displeased when he said, “Liam, are you determined to be souncompromising in this matter? “Miles is holding Westcity’s Plot No. 8, and it’s going to be anextraordinary project!” Sadie said calmly, “Since you value them so much, why haven’t you gone afterthem already, Uncle Daryl?” ‘Still going on and on about Westcity’s Plot No. 8, huh? It seems that theLawsons are still unaware that Uncle Jason is already on our side after sharing a meal.’ Daryl wasfurious. He took a glance at the pile of contracts placed before Kayson unwillingly and left the boardroomin anger. Ben, Leo, and the others were overwhelmed with emotions at this very moment. They felt likethey were on an emotional roller coaster. They had been under the assumption that the company was doomed a moment ago, yet the companywas resurrected in the next moment. They felt so emotional in their hearts as they looked at Albertbecause they knew he would make a superb backer! Liam said, “Please take a seat, Mr. Carlson! Theseare our company’s shareholders, Ben Oxley, Leo Hill…” Albert took a seat and greeted Ben and the others smilingly. Meanwhile, Sadie looked toward Kaysonand said, “What are you doing here? Return to your department now!” “Ah.” Kayson nodded, turnedaround, and left. “Who’s the person who just walked out of here?” After receiving Michael’s call, Albert immediately made his way to Wolfenden Corp.. Besides resolvingWolfenden Corp.’s crisis, Michael had also given him another mission. The mission was for him to findout Kayson’s role in the Wolfenden family!
