Chapter 84: Just Come If You Can

Politely refusing the invitation for dinner, Cathy packed up her things and left with the two assistants. Looking at the time, she arranged, "Let's go to dinner first and then go to the next one in the afternoon."

Nick nodded.

Aaron frowned, "Shall we not go back to the hotel for a rest?"

Cathy looked at him, "Are you tired?"

"I'm not tired yet as a young man, but didn't you walk for half a day?" He said, glancing at her with a crowded eyebrow, and cared about, "Don't hold on if you're uncomfortable. In the afternoon, Nick and I can go to the company as well."

Nick was somewhat confused, but nodded, "Uh, uh, uh."

Cathy glanced at him and looked at herself following Aaron's gaze. Suddenly, there was something emerging in her mind and she realized what happened. She sneered, "You have believed the excuse I made casually just now? I am just afraid that if we bustle about too late, we can not easily refuse their lunch at noon."

She just said casually that she was experiencing menstrual cycle. But he just noticed. It seemed the child was careless, but sometimes she was shocked by her keenness.

Aaron was just startled for a moment. He smiled instantly and was not embarrassed. He said lightly, "I learned another technique from manager Lawson. It seems that I am still too young to observe others' behaviors and understand deeply others' words."

Nick finally understood and answered, "Not only you, but also I didn't discover. If we had just accepted the invitation for the meal, we would not have to work in the afternoon."

Cathy rolled her eyes and waved, "Don't flatter me. Go ahead and find a place to have lunch."

While sitting in the dining room, Cathy received a call from Cathy.

She didn't answer the phone first, but she told the other two she had something to deal with, and then she stood up and went out of the restaurant.

"Are you busy?" The man's deep voice was somewhat hoarse, as if he had just woken up.

Cathy did not sneer any more but said lightly, "I am having lunch with my two assistants." "Don't you go back to the hotel at noon?"

"Well, there's no much time. I'll go directly to the partner company in the afternoon."

The man was silent for a second and said, "Cathy, you don't have to work so hard like that."

Cathy slowly murmuring in her ear, Cathy attracted by his deep but sexy voice, as if she could feel the temperature of his breath, which made her heart beat fast.

She really would like to say, "If I don't struggle. can you support me?" ---the lines of the classic idol drama, but the reality is just reality. Even if he answered like this, she would not feel moved in stead of a sense of embarrassment.

Looking at the dazzling sun ahead, she said emotionlessly, "This is my own body and I can take care of myself better than anyone else. I clearly know whether I am tired or not."

Cathy seemed to be helpless, lowering his voice, "I am distressed about the children. Are you going to compare your energy with two young men?Do you want to force me to get you back?

Cathy was so fearless that she sneered, "Then you can be distressed as much as you can. Anyway, they are still in my stomach. Wherever I go, they would be together with me. You can come and get me back if you can."

Finishing her speak slowly, she hung up the phone with her lips hooked. she could almost imagine his gloomy and handsome face in her mind, which made her feel much better.

He could find out the hotel she stayed in and the company she was going to goon an errand in the afternoon.

When Cathy returned to the table, Aaron caught a glimpse of her raised lips, squinted, and said with a smile, "Sister Cathy, why are you so happy?"

Her smile vanished, She sat down, picked up her chopsticks again, and made a nonsense solemnly, "Can't I be happy for being praised beautiful by a friend?" Nick, "..."

Aaron twitched his lips, "Your friend... may need to go to the Ophthalmologist."

Cathy, "..."

After dissing Cathy, Cathy was in a good mood all the afternoon, but she would become sad soon.

The manager of the last company they went, was so enthusiastic that it was a bit tough because the manager must invite them to dinner at night. Cathy and her assistants pushed aside for a long time but still did not refuse. Finally they can only promise.

When it got dark, a group of people went to the large private room in a hotel.

Cathy was unwilling but could only laugh with them.

Aaron pulled her clothes secretly and asked with a smile, "What should we do? It can be imagined that this group of middle-aged men can make us drunk."

Cathy frowned, a sense of heaviness flashing in her eyes, "Just appropriately response to the changing situation. Aren't you good at social activities? Just refuse to drink if you can. Don't rely on your young health to be free from scruples."

She had met many difficult customers, but it was the first time she met such occasions when she was pregnant. These people are all strong guys. They would not stop drinking until being drunk. "What about you?" Aaron could not help worrying about her

Cathy pretended to be at ease, laughing lightly and murmuring, "I'm the only woman in the room. Can they bully me? Anyway, we are the guests, they must consider the interests of their own company, even if they are silly."

"Manager Lawson, come on, please sit down."

Someone was calling her with a loud voice to have a seat.

Cathy immediately showed a smiling face, looked at Aaron and went to sit down.

A manager of the other company, diligently pulled open one chair, smiled and said, "Manager Lawson, sit here."

The smile on his face made Cathy a little sick. But with the overall situation in mind, she politely wrapped her clothes and sat down.

The man instantly laughed so happily that his eyes were almost disappear. He pulled out the chair next to her and was about to sit down. At this moment, Aaron stepped forward with his long legs. His slender body just squeezed between them and sat in that position naturally. He did not forget to laugh politely at the man, "Manager Hill, you are so polite. Sit down now."

Being cut off by someone halfway, the smile on Manager Hill's face became a little ugly. He took back his hand unwillingly and nodded with a reluctant smile, "It's my pleasure. It's my pleasure..."novelbin

Nick occupied the seat on Cathy's left, and Aaron was on her right hand.

Cathy was moved and looked at him gratefully.
