Her words seemed surreal to Ethan. He never imagined that Janice would say something like that.

He paused before saying, “Since you know about Ms. Rosa, can you find something out for me? It’sLiv’s origins.”

“She isn’t Jeff Fordham’s daughter. Ms. Rosa is the only person who knows what happened.

Olivia saw Janice sitting on her bed just as she got out of the bathroom.

Janice waved at her and said, “Come here.”
Olivia went over to accept Janice’s scrutiny obediently. She was prepared for this. She pictured thescene where Janice would give her some money to leave Ethan.
