Before she could finish, Ethan smiled and said, “I know. I won’t lay a hand on you.”
He lifted the blanket and walked toward her.
He gently held her hand and said, “You lost your memories and feelings for me. I understand that. Liv, Ican give you time to accept me again and to fall in love with me again.”
Under his gentle guidance, she followed him back to the bed in a daze.
