Jeff’s mind went blank when he heard that Chloe was dead. He felt like he couldn’t breathe, and theblood in his veins froze.
Face pale, his body was trembling uncontrollably. He grabbed Marina’s hand emotionally and asked,How did your mother die?”

“Only natural? What about my daughter, then?” Jeff asked with a crazed expression. It was like he wasswept up by a vortex of emotions, and he had lost his mind.
