Olivia looked toward Colin. For a moment, she wasn’t sure if she was dreaming.
“How did I get here, Colin?”
Colin quickly explained, “Olivia, you scared me so much! I went to the elevator to look for you.
“All I found was your smashed phone. Then, the kidnapping incident garnered widespread attentiononline. I recognized you immediately.
“I was so scared for you. I followed behind the Millers’ cars to the beach to look for you. Luckily, I foundyou on the side of the
road.”
Olivia panicked and asked, “Does anyone else know that you saved me?”
“No. I brought you straight home after I found you unconscious on the ground. I didn’t inform anyone.”
Olivia sighed in relief. She saw Colin looking confused.
She explained, “I was so close to death, Colin. If my enemies knew I was alive, they’d send people tokill me.”
“Don’t worry, Olivia. The people that kidnapped you must have planned it for a long time.
“I didn’t dare to tell anyone that you were with me. That’s why I didn’t take you to the hospital.”
