Chapter 914

Chapter 914

But before lan could get up to find Maja, Tyler jokingly suggested from the side, “How about I feed

you?”

“No way.”

lan’s face looked pretty gloomy, as if he’d been rubbed the wrong way.

Tyler shrugged, glanced at the time, and thought about the other stuff he had to take care of.

“Alright, I’ll come see you tomorrow.”

After he left, Fitch also got up. “I need to supervise the work over there. I’ll have someone else come

feed you.”

“There’s no need for that.”

lan wasn’t keen on having others see him in such a sorry state.

But Fitch didn’t argue, he just went to the neighboring hospital room..

Maja could’ve been discharged this morning, but for some reason, she kept delaying the procedure.

At this point, Fitch arrived at her room and knocked on the door.

“lan’s awake, you take care of him.”

After saying that, he didn’t wait for Maja’s response and just left.

Slowly, Maja got out of bed and walked over to lan’s room.

After thinking for a moment, she decided to knock on the door.

lan originally thought that Fitch really brought a nurse. His mood was already bad, now it got even

worse. He frowned and tried to pick up the spoon again.

“Buzz off.“/

He had just finished speaking when the door to the room opened, and Maja was standing in the

doorway.

Hearing him tell her to leave, she hesitated about whether to close the door and leave.

“Come over here, what are you doing standing there?”

But when he saw it was Maja standing there, he put down the spoon again and said helplessly, “I’m out

of strength.” Maja felt like she owed him a favor, so she really came back and even closed the door on

her way in.

His mood improved slightly, but he still felt bad. Why did she come just now?

Was she intentionally waiting for him to get really sick before coming?

Maja went over to the bed, picked up the spoon, stirred the vegetable soup a few times, and then fed to

his mouth,

–“lán.”

She originally wanted to call him ‘Mr. Raymond‘, but in the end, she just called him by his first name.

lan sneered, “What’s up? Why are you hesitating to call my name?”

Maja didn’t answer. Seeing that he was finally willing to eat, she sighed with relief and scooped up

another spoonful of porridge.

lan was being taken care of very comfortably. He glanced at her.

Maja’s face was likeable, no matter how he looked at it.

Why did he like her so much? It was strange.

“Do you like this soup?”

Maja asked, scooped up some soup with a small spoon, blew on it gently, and then brought it to his

mouth.

lan took a sip and then asked.

“I heard you haven’t come to see me for most of this month?”

Maja lowered her eyelashes, quietly stirring the soup in the bowl.

She didn’t answer, which was as good as admitting it.

lan was very angry and really wanted to slap all the food and soup on the table away.

But he was too weak to do anything, so he could only lie in bed.

“I’m full now. Fill the tub for me, I want to take a bath.”

Maja cleared off the bed table and helped him out of bed.

He was staying in a VIP single room, which had a private bathroom and kitchen. The staff here had

even renovated the room, considering his obsession with cleanliness.

Maja filled the bathtub with hot water, but lan’s injuries were severe, so he couldn’t soak in the water

directly, he could only be wiped down with a towel.

To make him a little more comfortable, Maja had moved into a chair with a backrest.

“Sit down; I’ll help you wipe down. Your wounds can’t come into contact with water.”

Jan looked a bit more comfortable. He stretched his legs, putting on a face that said he was ready tobe taken care of.

Maja didn’t get upset about it. She knew he was in a bad mood.

When lan was angry, he always had a ‘distinct look, as if to say, come coax me.

So she didn’t make a fuss and just helped him unbutton his hospital gown. However, when she saw

the gunshot wound that was revealed, her fingers couldn’t help but tremble.

His wound was very close to the heart. If it was a little off, he might have lost his life.

She was reminded of the day when she was holding him, her palms full of his blood. He was leaning

weakly against her, not saying a word.

Maja took a deep breath, controlled the tremors in her fingers, and took off his hospital gown.

She dampened the towel and carefully helped him clean his body.

lan was a clean freak and couldn’t stand being dirty. Seeing her just wipe him down with a towel, his

brows furrowed.

“Help me wash with some soap.”

“You have too many wounds now; you can’t use it yet.”

“Maja, I want to use soap.”

Maja gritted her teeth. She thought her master was right, he was a picky–guy! novelbin

She fowered her head and soaped him up in places that didn’t touch the wounds.

lan’s brows finally relaxed.

It took her an hour just to wash his upper body.

When Maja helped him take off his pants, she didn’t dare to look around.

There were ho wounds on his lower body, so she used the shower head to wash, quickly applied some

soap, and then quickly rinsed it clean.

lan was obviously not satisfied, and his face darkened.

“Maja, you’re just going through the motions.”

Maja applied soap to every piece of his skin again. To avoid his mind wandering, she changed the

subject.

“Remember when we were swept away by the flood? Did you wake up and help treat my foot injury?”

lan’s fingers twitched slightly. He really didn’t want to remember that awkward and desperate moment.

“No, I passed out too.”

Maja didn’t say anything, and she just silently rinsed him off with clear water.

“Stand up; I’ll help you dry off with a towel.”

lan stood up, and Maja squatted down to wipe him down.

But while wiping, she felt her forehead suddenly hit by something hard.

She was scared, and her hand trembled. “lan!”

She wished she could smack that towel on his head!

lan looked at her and said, “It’s not my fault; it grew on its own.”

He thought. Can’t it just stay big for a while?
