lan stopped, “Wait, I need to change too.”

“Hurry up then.”
Maja anxiously glanced at the time, worrying if it got too late, there might not be any specialists at the
hospital.
She stood at the door of the master bedroom, waiting for half an hour, but lan didn’t come out.
She frowned and couldn’t resist opening the door.

morning?”
Maja looked up and noticed the deep, dark circles under his eyes.
He was obviously so tired, yet he still managed to be flippant.
Maja was the type of person who responded better to a soft approach than a hard one. If lan was tough
on her, she might fight back. But if he showed a vulnerable side, she would instantly soften.
She tried to remove his hand, but he held her even tighter.
“Maja, really missed you.”
As he said this, his breathing became shallow yet rapid.
As Maja stared at the ceiling, she wondered if it was the hormones talking. When he expressed his
longing for her despite his tiredness, her heart rate increased, and her palms even started to sweat.
