The girl’s face instantly contorted into a look of shock, so much so that she was left stunned.
By the time she came back to her sense, lan had already taken off.
The innocence in her eyes disappeared in an instant, replaced by a thoughtful look as she stared at hisretreating figure.

was pressing down on her.
She had been staying at Rosewood Manor for two days and had the property management team
investigate who had installed so many cameras in RosenGarden. Despite their efforts, they found no
clues. Even the cops suspected she was pulling a publicity stunt.
With that many cameras, it’s impossible to install them all in such a short amount of time, and for Maja,
the homeowner, to be clueless about it was even more impossible.
Luckily, Maja had her alibi; she hadn’t spent much time there, and the property management could
vouch for her.
So, they had to drop the matter.
During her stay at Rosewood Manor, she occasionally had nightmares about the ceilings filled with
cameras, still giving her the heebie–jeebies and causing her to lose her appetite.
In just two days, she had lost a good ten to fifteen pounds.
When she returned to work, she found that all the roles for the next film had been filled, with the lead
role going to a newbie from the company, a move to promote their own talent.
Maja didn’t mind, and she simply made a payment to Meetman, gave Wilma a call reminding her of
their previous agreement and washed her hands off the matter. -Meetman was well–prepared, having
already decided on the location for the first round of shooting near Greenfield.
Seeing that Maja was not in the best of moods, Zoey suggested,
“Mr. Pennyfeather, why don’t you visit the set? Meetman has everything set up, and there are many
other sets around. It might help you unwind.”
Greenfield Cinema City was a popular location for shooting. At its busiest, over twenty crews were
filming at once.
“No need, get Shawn here. It’s about time we found him an endorsement deal.”
Shawn was a bit excited when he was called in. His popularity was on the rise, and he was frequently
trending.
Before entering the office, he straightened his clothes and then knocked on the door.
“Penny.”
Realizing he might have addressed her incorrectly, he quickly corrected himself, “Mr. Penny feather.”
Maja nodded, handing over an invitation and said, “You’ll accompany me to this party tonight. Ford’s
new fragrance is looking for a global spokesperson.”
This was a huge endorsement deal, and Ford was a globally recognized fragrance brand. If he could
land this, it would definitely pump up his worth.
However, what Maja didn’t expect was running into Alma at the party.
Despite the negative press Alma had been receiving, she hailed from the Casson family, a prestigious
lineage.
As long as the Casson family held its standing, no one would openly dislike her.
Alma also saw Maja and immediately grabbed the man next to her.
“Brother, that’s Maja. Can you help me bring her company down?”
Omar was a handsome man. Although not the heir to the Casson family, he held a significant position.
If anything were to happen to the current heir, he would be a strong contender for the position.
A cold glint flashed in his eyes as he thought about how Maja had exposed his true identity in front of
that woman, causing him to feel irritated.
“Alma, you have a performance tonight. You can invite her to watch and impress her with your piano
