Chapter 704

Chapter 704

In the crowd, Tyler noticed the brewing tension between Fitch and lan and immediately stepped in.

“Whoa, whoa, we’re all pals here. Let’s chill. Everyone’s watching.”

Fitch didn’t actually plan on getting into a scuffle with lan. He grabbed Mia’s hand and split from the

scene.

Tyler watched him leave, letting out a sigh.

He turned his head to see lan still protecting Maja and sighed again.

“How’re you gonna explain this to the Haskins family, huh?”

The Haskins and the Raymonds had always been tight. If the Haskins spilled the beans to Holden, lan

could be in some serious hot water.

Hearing this, Maja started to get antsy.

If the Raymonds and the Haskins started to butt heads, it would definitely throw the whole place into atizzy.

She clutched a corner of lan’s suit, looking pretty freaked out.

lan grabbed her wrist, shooting Tyler a glare.

“Don’t scare her.”

Tyler frowned, feeling that he wasn’t scaring her, just stating facts.

lan’s actions tonight were a blatant provocation to the Haskins.

Being high society, the word was bound to spread..

Adding Sharon’s incident to the mix, Holden was bound to find out.

lan took Maja and booked it from the scene.

Tyler watched them go, raising an eyebrow.

Since lan’s memory loss, it seemed like he was more into Penny.

Was it because he felt unchained, so he was more in tune with his feelings?

He wasn’t as stubborn as before, though he was still a bit stubborn. It was way better.

lan led Maja to his car.

Thinking of the night’s events, she couldn’t help but ask, “Will Holden actually come after you?”

lan shook his head and stepped on the gas.

But the truth was, the Haskins did spill to Holden.

Especially Sharon, this was the most embarrassed she had ever been. After having a drink thrown at

her, she left, not expecting her daughter to lose her dignity right after. When she heard about the

champagne tower being knocked over, she was unable to stay quiet and immediately dialed up

Holden. Holden wasn’t planning on dealing with this, and he had already said he wouldn’t see anyone.

But after three consecutive calls from Sharon, he couldn’t ignore it.

Sharon spoke gently, but she was hinting that lan was bewitched by a vixen.

“Holden, our families have known each other for years. You and my dad were good friends. Ian’s

behavior at the art exhibition tonight was indeed humiliating for us, but we don’t want to make a fuss.

We just hope you could talk to him.”

Sharon was very tactful.

Holden hung up, the wrinkles on his forehead deepening.

He had a hunch that lan was getting cozy with a woman recently.

But he himself had said he’s not bored of her yet..

He was divorced. Holden’s thinking was simple: if Maja wasn’t his daughter–in–law, he wouldn’t care

about lan’s antics.

As long as he doesn’t die over a woman, he can mess around as he pleased.

He was a man of restraint, and he wouldn’t lose control.

But just a few days later, he took that woman to the art exhibition, making Sharon feel awkward

publicly, even causing Mia to fall into the champagne tower because of her.

Holden was fuming, wishing he could immediately deal with that unfilial grandson!

Even with memory loss, his workability hadn’t deteriorated. He should know what to do and what not to

do!

“Get that annoying kid back here tonight! I need to give him a good lesson!”

This was going to be a family punishment. novelbin

Since lan’s return, this was the second time he was getting a family punishment.

Last time he was still married, his behavior with Maja was reckless; the old man considered it a

betrayal of his marriage, so he was severely punished. Currently, lan had already brought Maja back

to Greenfield Gardens.

For some reason, ever since their relationship was confirmed, he found himself wanting to be closer to

her.

While still in the car, he pulled her in for a kiss, his hands starting to wander.
