Seeing that Carlene hadn’t responded, Maja’s gaze became very calm.

Edith’s heart clenched, recalling how Eric and Carlene had been close. If it weren’t for the accident,

“Your brother planned to marry Carlene. Even though he’s not here anymore, you should fulfil his
wish. Marry Carlene. You’re divorced now.
lan found it hilarious when he heard this, a cold look in his eyes.
“Grandma, are you saying that even if Eric wanted something and he’s gone, I should still get it for
him?”
Edith frowned, “He’s your brother, lan. You should know how you got where you are. If Eric hadn’t had
an accident, you might still be in the military. You wouldn’t have had a chance to be where you are
now. You’ve taken what was your brother’s. Why can’t you fulfil his wish? You owe him that.”
lan hung up, staring coldly at the screen.
Edith couldn’t accept this and called again.
lan chuckled and said, “Grandma, if I really got involved with his woman, do you think he’d fight me if
he came back one day?”
And besides, he would never touch the woman Eric loved.
Even though many thought he might have killed Eric, considering the dark battles within the rich

Edith stood up abruptly, her eyes filled with emotion.

Eric can come back…”
