Soon after, she saw Jeff come in and hand lan a box of a hangover cure.
lan opened the packaging, inserted a small straw, and held it to her mouth.
“Have a sip.”
Maja frowned a bit, and she did drink a bit too much just now. After all, there was a lot she needed to
get off her chest, and her emotions were running high.
She didn’t refuse the hangover cure.
lan looked at her, breathed a sigh of relief, and then said, “See, being with me isn’t that bad, is it?”
Maja was taken aback. You gave me a hangover cure, and that’s supposed to be a good thing?
Compared to the harm you’ve done to me, this is nothing.

“Here, you have it back.”

“Mr. Raymond, maybe you should try looking for someone else. It doesn’t have to be me. It would be
better for both of us. Don’t you think?”
Tyler really had nothing to say about these two. They were both so stubborn.
He didn’t want to meddle anymore, anyway. He always thought that even though lan liked Penny now,
it was just a temporary thrill. He’ll lose interest in
her in less than six months.

“You’re coming with me to a hotel tonight.”
