Chapter 372

Chapter 372

Tyler caught sight of lan Raymond’s non–denial response and arched an eyebrow.

“Are you indulging in such affairs?”

lan glanced at the cards in his hand and casually played one.

He paid no attention to Tyler.

“So, you relish this sensation, but haven’t completely surrendered to it.”

“I never imagined that my seemingly noble and unapproachable friend would develop an affection for

someone else’s woman.“*

lan’s hand clutching the cards halted instantly, and lan’s brow furrowed.

“Please choose the appropriate diction.”

“It is a fact. I acknowledge her allure, but aren’t you fastidious about personal hygiene? Can you bear

sharing a woman with someone else? Have you ever considered that she just kissed her husband

before coming to kiss you? Wouldn’t that make you disgust?”

Indeed, lan felt disgusting, but he maintained his composure outwardly.

“Shut up!”

Tyler chuckled, “Looks like you do care a bit. Just a reminder, this is just a game. She can have an

affair with you, she can have one with someone else. Her moral compass is a bit off. Don’t let her fool

you.”

Ian handed all of his cards to Tyler, leaned back into the shadows.

“I understand that better than you do.”

Tyler thought to himself, if you really understood, you wouldn’t be tangled up with a married woman.

But he didn’t expose lan. He figured lan was just temporarily smitten with Penny. If this happened

enough times, he’d surely get bored.

Even if the physical relationship with Penny made him happy, it certainly wouldn’t be enough for lan to

leave his wife for Penny, especially with Carlene Shepard in the picture.

lan sat there, images of his intimate moments with Penny flooding his mind.

She had clung onto him in panic.

It was just like that night.

He was feeling hot all over, he loosened his tie, a lingering scent of her hair on his fingertips.

Upon returning home, Maja’s mind was in disarray.

After taking a shower, she glanced at her reflection in the mirror, her cheeks flushed.

The sensation of being enveloped by intense desire still reverberated in every single cell of her being.

However, when she recalled his words, a sense of self–mockery overcame her.

Whether as his wife or merely an object of his desires, he had never taken her seriously.

Even though she harbored no affection for him, that face, so reminiscent of memories, still quickened

her heartbeat when it gazed upon her.

This was the first time Maja felt troubled because of lan.

Yet, thoughts of ByteWise Technologies weighed heavily on her mind, leaving her weary.

Lying in bed, she tossed and turned, unable to sleep, fearing her own sluggishness would lead to

another dream of her mother tonight.

Her eyes instantly grew teary, and she let out a deep sigh.

The next morning.

The nanny of the Pennyfeather family called her, saying no one was home and they were worried.

So Maja went to the Pennyfeather family. It was deserted, only the servants were there.

Cristina and the others each met their own fate. The police reopened Wyatt’s case and Tricia and

Cristina were still detained.

For the first time, Maja felt the emptiness of the house.

“Let’s clean the entire house thoroughly, sell all of Cristina’s things, and donate the money to an

orphanage.”

The servants were surprised but they knew they couldn’t reach Cristina now, so they followed Maja’s

decision.

Maja went to check on Greenfield Gardens on the way, made sure the construction was going

smoothly, then prepared to return to her own RosenGarden.

But the mansion’s servants called her again.

“Ms. Pennyfeather, a few people suddenly showed up, two old people, they brought a lot of luggage.”

Maja immediately understood, it must be her grandparents.

So, Maja quickly went to get some bodyguards from Carol Miller.

She returned to the Pennyfeather family with the bodyguards.

At this moment, Hattie was visiting the villa, her excitement causing her entire being to tremble. She

had never imagined that she would reside in such a place.

“We are truly going to prosper and flourish now.” novelbin

“Look at it, this is the villa I mentioned earlier. I heard that this villa is worth several million dollars.”

Ferris Pennyfeatherwas so excited he couldn’t speak, his hand trembling.

Hattie pointed at the table, loudly ordered the servants.

“What’s the matter? You see the owner is here, you don’t even prepare a cup of coffee? I’m Neil’s

mother, Maja’s grandmother. From now on, we’re all going to live here!”
