The next day, Zoey hung around the office until the afternoon, as she had scheduled a meeting with anovelbin

company, fired off a couple of sharp questions, all deftly parried by Zoey. With her lawyer arriving just in
time, the deal was soon hammered out.
Arthur left without his own agent; John was still with the old company. So, Arthur hopped into Zoey's
car, and they headed for Star Movie Group to finalize his upcoming schedule with the execs.
As the three arrived outside the hotel, Arthur shook hands with John. After a collaborative stretch of
four or five years, it was unfortunate that their visions no longer aligned, necessitating a contract
termination.
Once inside Zoey's car, Arthur exhaled a sigh of relief. Zoey glanced at him through the rearview mirror
as she drove.
"Did you wrap up last night's shoot?"
"Yeah, it's done. I'm free of commitments, which is why I dared to make the switch."
"Don't worry; the company will have your next roles lined up in no time."
Arthur offered a wry smile. Despite an air of experience, he was still young, only thirty-two - prime time
for a male actor's career to take off.
