Chapter 1243

"Wind, could you keep my secret from the others? The one about me not truly being a Sanders? I'm

scared that Dylan won't love me anymore, afraid that Beck would despise me. If this were to happen, I

don't think I could go on."

A wave of pity washed over Wind and he gently embraced her.

Judith, seizing this moment, reached out and touched the small braid on his shoulder, "Do you

remember this braid? I was the one who told you to keep it. I said it suited you."

"Miss Sanders, I thought you had forgotten."

"I could never forget anything that has to do with you, Wind."

The sincerity in Judith's eyes was evident as she leaned against his chest.

Wind felt a warmth in his eyes, feeling that even if he were to die in this moment, he wouldn't mind.

Yet, at this moment, Judith pleaded with him.

"Wind, will you take care of me in the hospital during this time? Even after I'm discharged, I don't want

you to leave my side. I want to see you every moment. From now on, I'm your girlfriend, but our

relationship can't be known by others. I'm afraid of the trouble it might bring."

Girlfriend?

Wind thought he was hallucinating. He was always aware of Judith's lofty character. Never did he

expect her to say something like this.novelbin

An overwhelming sense of joy hit him, leaving him momentarily stunned, unable to think of anything

else.

The soft touch of her hand around his waist was something he had never experienced with Judith

before, causing a warm sensation to spread throughout his chest.

"Miss Sanders, I love you. I'm willing to always be by your side."

Seeing him calmed down, Judith breathed a sigh of relief.

As long as he didn't tell anyone, everything would be okay.

She began trembling again, the crazy speculation making it difficult for her to remain calm.

If Maja really was a Sanders, what would she do?

She clutched onto Wind's clothes tightly, her face pale.

"Wind, I'm injured because of Maja. I want Dylan to kill her. I'm going to stir up some trouble soon, will

you help me? Please."

With those words, she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him.

Wind's pupils constricted, and after a moment of surprise, he passionately kissed her back.

He had finally fulfilled a long-held wish.

"I promise you, Miss Sanders. I promise you. Even if you want my life, I'm willing."

A trace of a smile appeared in Judith's eyes. If she wanted the mad dog to obey, she had to give it a

bone first.

She would never let Maja recognize the Sanders.

She wanted to make sure that before anyone else knew this secret, Dylan would deal with Maja.

That would be satisfying!

Just thinking about it excited her.

Ian stood in the grand hall of BlueSky Bar. It was all golden and splendid. But what he felt in this sea of

gold was loneliness.

Fitch had gone to greet the others in the private room, leaving him waiting here.

He pulled out a cigarette and walked a few steps into the shadowy corridor on the first floor to smoke.

The lighting here was dim, barely illuminating his sharp jawline.

He didn't pose or make any deliberate movements, yet there was an aura of nobility about him.

An outsider would notice him take a puff, then quietly gaze out through the floor-to-ceiling window in

front of him.

In the distance were the bright city lights, vibrant and bustling.

With the cigarette in his fingertips, he flicked the ash off skillfully, then felt something wet on his cheek.

He touched it with his hand, rubbing it between his fingers.

Hearing footsteps from the other side, he quickly wiped his eyes.

The next moment, he saw the female waitress.

She was mopping the floor with her head down, an earpiece in her ear.

"Ian is two meters straight ahead of you. He's crying alone. Have you ever seen his tears, Maja?

Seeing him so ostracized, doesn't it hurt?"

Maja didn't reply. When she was taken away earlier, the man had fed her some sort of pill.

He said it was poison, and that she only had an hour to live. If she didn't find him for the antidote within

the hour, she would die here.

She might die in front of Ian, and he might not even recognize her.
