Chapter 1240

Dylan launched another kick, "That's still better than Maja! You can't even see her remains now!"

As his words hung in the air, it felt like the atmosphere had been sucked out of the room in an instant.

Ian lunged forward, throwing punches at Dylan.

Both men were seething, and vases and glasses shattered around them.

The manager of the BlueSky Bar hid in the distance, fearing to intervene.

Everyone knew that one of them was the CEO of the Raymond Corporation and the other, an heir to

the Sanders family.

Beck happened to walk into the scene, swearing in shock.

This was the first time he had seen his elder brother in a fight.novelbin

Compared to the reckless beast that was Ian, the usually composed Dylan was at a disadvantage.

"Stop it, for God's sake! Ian, you're hitting him too hard!"

Trying to break up the fight, Beck took a punch to the face, his cheekbone turning a shade of purple.

Ian clutched Dylan's collar, his eyes blazing with fury.

"If Maja's confirmed dead, Judith will meet an even worse fate. Wait and see."

Dylan wiped the blood from his lips, his tone icy, "That's if you live long enough to see it. Who knows

how many people in Greenfield want you dead?"

Beck quickly stepped between the two men, his voice filled with urgency.

"Stop it, Dylan, Mr. Raymond, don't make yourselves the laughing stock of the town."

Ian glared at Dylan, his gaze sharp and dark.

Dylan returned the glare, equally undeterred.

"Ian, the Sanders family will never forget the bullets you fired at Beck and me."

He wiped the blood from his lips, his eyebrows furrowed, "When you manage to survive and return to

North America, we'll settle our score."

With that, he walked away.

Beck quickly followed, his face filled with disapproval.

"Dylan, our father will surely find out about your fight with Ian. He's heard about your relentless pursuit

of Ian in Greenfield. It seems like we're going to be sent back home soon, along with Judith."

At Beck's words, Dylan paused, his eyes filled with concern.

The key issue was that Judith, probably under some spell cast by Ian, kept insisting on seeing him.

She didn't want to leave. After coming to her senses, apart from wanting to see Ian, she'd been cursing

Maja.

Ian was planning to return to Rosewood Manor tonight. But before he could leave the BlueSky Bar, his

phone rang. It was a call from Greenfield Gardens.

His men were still out looking for Maja, and some of them had just returned.

"Mr. Raymond, it seems someone has been in the Greenfield Gardens. We noticed some suspicious

activity when checking the surveillance footage."

"Did we lose anything?"

"Nothing's missing. Someone just came in, looked around, and left."

Ian didn't pay much attention to it.

Hospital.

Judith was staying in the VIP room. Remembering the bullet Ian had shot into her shoulder, she felt a

mix of pain and fear.

But, strangely, she felt her love for him intensifying. It was as if someone had ignited her desire to

conquer him, to make him submit and fall for her.

Right now, Ian was indifferent to her, even cruelly determined to take her life. If he fell deeply in love

with her in the future, would he regret his current actions?

Just the thought of it made Judith's blood boil.

She clutched her blanket tightly, her eyes filled with madness.
