Tomorrow happened to be Saturday.
She responded to the message.
[Tomorrow at 10 a.m.]
Ian's phone vibrated, and he initially thought it was just another spam message. But when he opened it,
he saw it was from Maja.
The files in his hands nearly dropped to the floor as he stared blankly at the message for a few
seconds.
[Okay! I know the incident with grandpa Holden wasn’t your fault. I was just too angry at the time. Can I
pick you up tomorrow?]
After sending the message, he kept his gaze on his phone, hoping to see her reply as soon as
possible.
Looking at her phone, Maja didn't know what to reply.
The incident with Grandpa Holden, she couldn't explain it. Maybe Ian's friends thought she was
involved. Everyone present at that time must have thought so.
Grandpa Holden was already dead, and she couldn’t argue otherwise.
Not to mention, she still didn't know why Grandpa Holden had given her the box to pass on to Ian.

When she returned to the office, Elvis passed her some paperwork regarding Cornelia's upcoming
scenes and some information about Wilma Bright.
Wilma had been quiet recently, working hard on her acting and losing quite a few pounds.
All because Maja had promised to rent the house next to Elvis's in the company's name once Wilma
finished shooting this film.
While Wilma was quite stubborn in her feelings toward Elvis, and she really would show determination
for this.
Maja found it a bit amusing when noticing Elvis had also planned out Wilma's future roles, and lifting
her eyebrow, she was about to tease him when Elvis spoke up first.
"Mr. Pennyfeather, Wilma is in her period of thriving. She's acting with one of our company's
newcomers. We could have the manager stir up some rumors about them being a couple, to help the
newcomer gain popularity."
Maja raised an eyebrow, deciding not to bother with Elvis's cluelessness.
If he really cared about Wilma, he wouldn't have suggested this strategy so blatantly. Nevertheless, it
was exactly what Maja had in mind.
Without hesitation, Maja agreed. She predicted Wilma might make a fuss, but as a mature artist, it was
a stage Wilma had to go through.
Maja worked until 9 p.m., yawning and ready to call it a day, when Zoey suddenly walked in.
"Mr. Pennyfeather, the issue with your parents has made it to the top search again. Rumors are saying
that your parents and brother are in jail."novelbin
It was undoubtedly Judith's doing.
Maja found the top search, only to see the news disappear the next second. Someone must have spent
money to have it removed.
She shrugged it off and stepped out of the office building, only to see Judith waiting at the entrance.
Judith was dressed in a limited edition Chanel outfit, carrying a designer handbag worth millions of
dollars. She looked like a little princess until she saw Maja, at which point she stormed over and threw
her handbag at her.
"You Bitch!"
Judith was livid. After all her efforts, Ian had denied everything with a single Facebook post and had
even blocked her on all communication platforms. When she went to The Raymond Corporation to find
him, he told her he never wanted to see her again.
It had to be something Maja said.
Judith was trembling with anger. When Maja dodged the handbag, Judith tried to slap her, but Maja
grabbed her wrist in mid-air and looked at her coldly.
"Did Ms. Sanders get the wrong person?"
Judith was on the verge of a breakdown. Especially after Ian reverted back to his standoffish
demeanor, she felt deeply hurt and humiliated.
Even the top search she paid for had been dealt with.
He had even warned her not to let Wind bother Maja again.
Judith had always seen herself as superior, and she had never thought Maja could ever measure up. It
was just beneath her to confront Maja.
But tonight, her defenses were completely shattered!
"Maja, I’m exactly looking for you! Shame on you! After breaking up with Ian, you still seduced him at
the social event, leading him into the bathroom. Who knows what you did in there!"
