After taking a shower, lan had the maid disinfect his room, his face all gloomy.
On his way down, he saw that woman still hanging around, and his face filled with rage. He glared atTyler as if he wanted to kill him right there and then.
Tyler quickly raised his hands in surrender.
“It wasn’t on me, man. You were the one who called a dozen times last night, ranting about Majadisrespecting and betraying you, then asked me to find you a woman. When I said no, you said you’dfind one yourself. So I got you one who looks like Maja. I thought you’d kick her out, but you ended upin bed with her. Anyway, you got to pay her first.”
lan pulled out a check and tossed it to him.
The woman’s body shook slightly. After a while, she said, “Mr. Raymond, I’m trying to sign up with StarMovie group. I didn’t want your money. I just wanted to play a supporting role in the next Star Moviegroup’s project. Was that cool?”
Tyler, who was about to sip his coffee, almost spit it out. “You’re with Star Movie group?”
The woman nodded, her eyes filled with envy.
“I was, but I got fired,”
And the one who fired her was Maja. She never thought she’d end up being Maja’s stand–in.
All the artists signed to the Star Movie group have to pass Maja’s approval.
Maja’s very careful about this. Even though others thought this woman was a good actress, and she’salso a bit of an internet sensation now, Maja found out she’s a piece of work and fired her.
The room was too dark last night, and Maja had been firing people left and right lately, so she didn’trecognize her.
Now, the woman’s sitting quietly next to Tyler, her eyes full of unhidden satisfaction.
Once she tricked lan into believing she’s pregnant, getting past Maja will be a breeze, right?
When lan heard about her wanting a role in the Star Movie group, his face froze over.
But Tyler jumped in to help.
“If Maja really cares about you, she’ll be jealous.”
It’s a bad idea.
But lan, being inexperienced, fell for it.
“Plus, lan, you slept with her. You got to give her something. And if you go to Maja for that role, and shefinds out you’re helping another woman, won’t she be pissed?”
lan thought it over, and it seemed to make sense.
Even though he’s physically repulsed by this woman who’s trying to imitate Maja, if it can piss Maja off,he might as well suck it up.
He frowned, a little bothered by the fact that he actually slept with her.
“Don’t let too many people know about us.”
He felt an inexplicable fear.
The woman, Darlene, shook with excitement when lan agreed.
“Sounds good. Thank you, Mr. Raymond!”
lan’s mood dropped. He lowered his eyes and stopped talking.
Tyler asked Darlene to leave first. Seeing lan’s downcast face, he can’t help but chime in, “You onlyslept with a woman, man. Why so glum? Didn’t you enjoy it?”
Tyler, who’s been around the block in the entertainment industry, had seen it all. He’s probably sleptwith more than fifty women. As long as it felt good, who cared? Were people really expecting men to besaints?

There was not no such thing as a completely honest and faithful man in this world. If there was, it’s onlybecause they haven’t met a big enough temptation yet. Otherwise, men might go looking for someaction, even when popping out for a smoke.
That’s just the way it was.
Tyler, being a man, knew this all too well.
That’s why he had no plans of ever getting married.
lan lit a cigarette, still feeling a little uneasy.
Little did he know as soon as Darlene left the villa, she called Maja.
She had met Maja before during the initial auditions and had her number. She was hoping to get morechances. As long as Maja signed her, she wouldn’t
mind sucking up to her.
But instead, she ended up with Tan, Maja’s ex–husband. Talk about hitting the jackpot!
“Hello.” Maja’s voice was indifferent, but Darlene’s was full of excitement.
“Mr. Pennyfeather, it’s Darlene. Do you remember me?”
Maja, busy with work, didn’t remember her at all.
“I don’t remember. What is it?”
“I slept with lan last night.”
Maja griped her phone tightly as Darlene continued,

“He wanted me to stick around for a while and said he’s sick of you. I’m really sorry, Mr. Pennyfeather. Ididn’t want to agree at first, but he was so insistent. You know how good he is in bed, right?”
Maja did indeed know. Ian had a knack for making a woman crave him in bed.
That’s why she completely believed Darlene and felt a strong sense of oppression.
She hang up the phone right away.
