Hattie was taken aback, wanting to give her a good scolding, but the presence of the bodyguardsstopped her.
Ferris was a bit of a smarty–pants, the only one in the family who’d gone to college, so he had this airof superiority about him.
So, when he lectured Maja, he had a sort of elder–like authority.
“What’s with your attitude when you talk to your grandma? Clearly, you’re an uncultured child, not evenknowing basic manners. Your parents never went to college, so I guess this is what they raised. Maja,listen to me, I’m a college–educated person. Your two cousins, they’re both college–educated too. Ifthey were adopted by your family, it’d be your damn luck.”
Ferris assumed that since Neil and Lillian never went to college, Maja must be a cultural dunce,completely ignorant of the fact that she was a graduate from a top–notch institution.
Maja slowly put down her coffee cup and looked at her so–called brother’s.
Greed was all over their faces.
Maja wrinkled her brow, not in the mood for their nonsense.
“Get the hell out. I don’t want to have to say it twice.”

“You have no manners,/Is this how your parents taught you?”
“Smash!”
The cup in Maja’s hand crashed onto the floor, scaring Ferris to hell.
Maja leaned back, her aura stifling everyone in the room.
“Why didn’t my dad go to college? As far as I remember, he scored higher than you in the exams. Itwas just because the family favored you, he had to start working early. Back then, he was earning lessthan three bucks a day, all handed over to grandma and grandpa, just to fund your college education.As the beneficiary, what gives you the right to gloat in front of me?”
She squinted, “If you think nagging me will do you any good, give it a shot. If you don’t leave my housewithin ten minutes, I’ll have the bodyguards show you out one by one.”
Ferris didn’t expect her to be so tough.
His well–thought–out strategies were useless against her absolute power.
He was speechless, feeling extremely embarrassed. He was a college graduate, and he wasembarrassed by a younger generation!
He clenched his teeth, pointing at Maja shakily.
“Enjoy it while you can. Wait till your stepmom gives all your family’s money to her son. Let’s see whoyou’ll cry to then!!
Seeing that he wasn’t going to get anything, he lost his cool.
Maja found it amusing.
“Even if I were to throw the Pennyfeather family’s belongings, I wouldn’t give it to you ungratefulrelatives!”
They were all left speechless, feeling incredibly awkward.
Hattie intentionally fell to the ground.
“Oh my God! They’re trying to kill me. My son makes money but doesn’t support his parents.”
As she wailed, she kicked her legs.
Maja simply directed the maid.
“Is there boiling water in the kitchen? Whoever is on the ground, I will pour it on them, and I will coverthe medical expenses.”
As soon as he finished speaking, Hattie, who was crying and yelling, was startled and quickly stood up,her fingertips trembling.
Seeing that there was no advantage to be gained here, the group of people exchanged glances andhad no choice but to leave.
Ferris still felt embarrassed, his hands tightly clenched into fists, hanging at his side.
