Maja successfully dodged Dana’s attack, grabbed her wrist, and snatched the dagger from her hand.
The hospital security saw the dangerous situation, and two guards immediately rushed over, quicklysubduing Dana.
Dana’s eyes were fixed on Maja.
“You’re not getting away with this!”
Maja frowned. Dana was just fired. Was it really such a big blow to her?

Dana’s eyes widened, provoked by this statement, and she tried to pounce on Maja.
But the security stopped her.
“Bitch, you wait!”
Maja ignored her, got in her car, and left.
Half an hour later, Carlene received a call from Dana.
“Carlene, you have to bail me out.”
Carlene frowned when she heard that Dana had gone to cause trouble for Maja, even bringing a knifeto stab her.
“Did you stab her?”
“No, she dodged it. Carlene, call lan for me and ask him to come save me. The police said I might go tojail.”
Carlene was irritated that Dana hadn’t managed to stab Penny!
Her actions had caused nothing but trouble!
But if she didn’t help Dana, the Shepard family would suspect her influence over lan.

She took a deep breath and immediately called lan, trying to make her tone sound as gentle aspossible.

At the police station entrance, Jeff went in to handle the paperwork.
When he came out, Dana followed Jeff, sobbing continuously.
She thought lan would pick her up, but her crying stopped abruptly, full of joy.
But lan didn’t show up. Instead, Jeff got in the car and drove off.
Dana was left standing there, fuming.

Maja wasn’t as fast as Dana in getting back. When she saw Dana standing at the gate, she frowned.
Dana had seen Maja’s car at the hospital and recognized the license plate, so she didn’t hesitate tostop her.
She stood in the middle of the road, sure that Maja wouldn’t dare to hit her.
Maja stopped. She rolled down a window, and Dana immediately stood at the window to gloat.

It was already evening, and Jeff was surprised to see her.
“Penny, are you here to see Mr. Raymond? I just dropped him off at Raymond Mansion; his wifeneeded him for something. He’ll be back at the company in two hours. Mr. Raymond has a meetingtonight. You can wait in the office on the top floor.”
Maja felt upset but went to the office anyway.
Two hours later, lan indeed arrived.
