Chapter 1275

Dylan felt a jolt of regret, wishing he could undo his past actions. Now, dealing with a deaf and blindwoman who couldn’t even write was a huge challenge. The only option seemed to be making the trip toGreenfield himself

But time was of the essence Judith had been missing for over twenty four hours and there was notelling what she was going through.

He felt a mix of rage and helplessness

“Eric, I need you to use Maja to get information about Judith from lan if I don’t find Judith soon, she’sdone for,” he said, a sense of desperation and anger in his voice

Patric, on the other end of the line didn’t react much to Dylan’s panic. Maja was equally unfazed. Shedidn’t have a shred of sympathy for Judith and hoped something bad would happen to her. She wantedDylan to get his comeuppance

Wouldn’t it be great if Judith wasn’t really a Sanders? Dylan would be crushed and that thought broughta smile to Maja’s lips.

“What are you smiling at Patric asked, noticing her grin.

Her smile vanished, replaced with a blank expression as she turned her face towards the direction ofthe breeze.

Patric’s face darkened Why do I get the feeling that you’re in a good mood today?

Maja ignored him. This was their usual dynamic, after all

Patric felt a wave of annoyance. “There’s a woman who looks a lot like you hanging around lan lately. She’s his new favorite Rumor has it they spent three days and nights together in a hotel What do youthink they were doing?”

Maja didn’t react to his attempts to stir up trouble. However, she had smelled a faint hint of perfume onlan the day before. By the time he came to see her again, it was gone. He must have changed hisclothes on purpose,

“Maja, when i proposed to you, my parents were thrilled. They’ve decided to start planning theengagement party. What do you think?”

Maja’s eyes flashed with mockery. She was curious about Patric’s true intentions.

Perhaps lan had made the right choice by staying here. She could find out what Patric was up to.

Seeing the scorn on her face, Patric was furious. He wanted to lunge at her, but the last shred of hisrationality held him back.

He stormed off down the hallway, punching the wall in frustration

His breathing grew erratic. He wasn’t sure if his emotional outburst was due to his feelings for Eric, orsomething else.

“Enc! Get out here and explain yourself!” he yelled, his face turning red with anger.

Why did he feel so upset when Maja mocked him? Why hadn’t he killed her when he lost his positionas CEO of the Raymond Corporation?

Eric cared about her If Patric killed her, Eric might disappear for good.

Wasn’t that what he wanted?novelbin

Yet he had never thought about killing Majal

Patric punched the wall a few more times, his knuckles bleeding

“Are you influencing me. Enc? When will you finally disappear?” he yelled, getting no response

It seemed like Enc had disappeared. But Patric knew better. There was still a trace of him left

He took a deep breath, grimacing as he tended to his wounded hand. Maybe he really should kill Maja.

Meanwhile, lan stood quietly around the comer, listening to Patric’s rant and the sound of his fist hittingthe wall.

lan raised an eyebrow as another low growl came from Patric

“I am not your second personality. Enc if you don’t disappear for good, I swear I’ll kill Maja”
