Her face was as white as a sheet as she stared at the modest spread of food before her, her mind achaotic whirlwind.
Carol quickly dropped to the floor, retrieving the scattered fragments.

Maja remained silent, simply picking up a new spoon and continuing to eat her oatmeal.
