Chapter 1007

Once dressed, lan bent down and gently tapped Maja’s cheek.

“Maja, Grandpa’s left a clue for me. I need to travel abroad. You sleep first, I’ve asked the waiter tobring breakfast here later.”

Maja didn’t wake up, so lan had no choice but to rouse her.

With her sleepy eyes, she saw him lean in for a kiss, pressing his lips against hers.novelbin

“I need to travel abroad. Make sure to eat well, okay?”

“Mmhm.”

She was so drowsy, just too tired. She turned over and was about to sleep again.

He pulled her into his arms, his voice turning soft.

“We’re together now, I’ve already announced it to the world. You can’t back out.”

“Mmhm, okay.”

Maja agreed sleepily. She had been kept up for two nights and really had no strength left.

Even if lan was reluctant to leave her, he had to go because of Grandpa. He walked away reluctantly, looking back every three steps.

Maja woke up at noon, still feeling weak.

She had drunk a lot the night before and now her head was aching.

She reached out beside her, thinking lan was still there, but found an empty space.

She quickly got up. She had wanted to have a serious talk with him last night. She had worked up thecourage to hold him and wanted to tell him everything that

was on her mind, but she couldn’t bear the effects of the alcohol and started rambling. She didn’t knowwhat she had said.

She could only remember that lan had seemed crazy last night. She looked at her waist and sureenough, there were a few finger marks.

Her face heated up instantly. How ridiculous!

She hurriedly got out of bed and felt a bit better after taking a bath.

There was a knock at the door. It was the waiter.

“Ms. Pennyfeather, Mr. Raymond asked me to bring you breakfast. May I come in?”

Maja opened the door.

The waiter pushed in the cart and neatly arranged the dishes on the table.

Maja thought lan had gone to work. The two of them had made a scene last night, but in the end, shedidn’t manage to say anything.

She took out her phone and dialed his number, but he had switched off his phone.

Reluctantly, she started eating her breakfast quietly.

After eating, she went to the office.

Maja didn’t have Judith’s Facebook account, so she didn’t know that shortly after lan updated hisstatus, Judith posted a picture of her new short hairstyle.

[Got a new haircut yesterday, does it make me look younger?].

lan had just hinted that his girlfriend had short hair, and Judith immediately posted a status updateconfirming it.

So everyone in their circle of friends thought lan was with Judith.

[lan has never publicly acknowledged his girlfriend before, and he’s never posted such a provocativephoto. It’s not his style at all.]

[No wonder she’s a Sanders. They’re both so talented and good–looking.]

[Congratulations.]

There were a series of congratulatory comments under this post, but Judith’s eyes turned cold.

But she added a comment under her post in response to everyone.

[Thanks, everyone.]

Her brief response caused even more speculation.

So, everyone started to spread the news that lan and Judith were together, and it was officiallyconfirmed.

Judith put down her phone and ate the grapes that Wind had washed for her, her face cold.

“Did they sleep together last night?”

“Miss, judging by the photo, they probably did.”

Judith threw the fruit plate across the room, her hair flying in anger.

Wind quickly tried to give her some medication, but she slapped it away.

“I’m not taking it. Notify Funfly. If they can’t come up with a way to deal with Maja, they might as well goto jail. I’m running out of patience.”

But even though she was impatient, she didn’t want to deal with Maja herself.

It would be beneath her. As a Sanders, a daughter of a top–notch wealthy family, it would be absurd forher to stoop to the level of a bastard. What would people think?
