Chapter 64

Chapter 64 “Clarissa, congratulations. You‘ve passed the entrance exam with flying colors. You’ve alsoreceived most of our approval. You‘ll soon become.”

“Wait a moment!”

A clear and strong voice came from the audience, interrupting the Vice–Chancellor‘s speech.

Naomi stood up. “I have some questions regarding the thesis earlier,” she asked with determination. novelbin

Clarissa saw Naomi stand, and her smile immediately stiffened. No! She must not let Naomi ruin hersuccess!

Clarissa shot Johnson a helpless look, and Johnson immediately reprimanded Naomi. “This is the examhall. Please don‘t cause any trouble here! Please leave now!”

“I would like to ask Clarissa several questions. Is that not possible? Or perhaps, Clarissa, are you unableto answer any questions put to you?”

!

Naomi glanced at Johnson lightly and pressed on. “Ha! You don‘t deserve to ask any questions!Somebody, send her out now!” Johnson sneered and shouted loudly, misusing his rights as the classpresident. “Please wait!”

As he said that, Ansel, who was on the stage, spoke in a serious manner. “Isn‘t she just going to asksome simple questions? Why can‘t she ask them? You are too cruel!

Ansel glared at Johnson, frightening him. Johnson‘s face immediately turned pale. He da not to speakAnsel was the most respected of the examiners. The Vice–Chancellor was willing to accept hissuggestion as well. “This student here, you may go ahead with your questions.” “Thank you, Mister

Craig. Thank you, sirs.” Naomi took the microphone. She bowed and thanked the lecturers beforespeaking. Then, she turned to Clarissa with a meaningful gaze.

“In your paper, you mentioned Pregnamin. Will this medicine be suitable for treating children? If so, willthere be any side effects?”

Clarissa was relieved to hear Naomi‘s question. She had expected the examiners to ask her somequestions, so she had prepared a few vague answers for such situations. With that, no one would noticeany mistakes in her answers.

“Each medicine has its own unique attributes, and there is no definite consensus on the effects that thismedicine would have on a child.”

After Clarissa spoke, she even looked at Naomi defiantly. “I hope you can ask a better and moremeaningful question.” Many members of the audience booed at Nomi. Naomi did not pay heed to them.Instead, her smile deepened. After all... The look on the examiners‘ faces had changed.

“Clarissa, are you sure about your answer?”

The Vice–Chancellor spoke in a serious tone. “What‘s wrong with my answer?” A flash of panic showedon Clarissa‘s face. Technically, her answer had been rather vague. There should have been nothingwrong with it. “Ha—”

Naomi sneered and said coldly, “Pregamin is only meant for only pregnant women. No one else can useit! Isn‘t that common sense? Why aren‘t you aware of such a basic thing?” “Ah? What?!” Clarissa‘s faceimmediately turned ashen. She was so frightened that she almost tripped!

The team of examiners on stage immediately grew suspicious of Clarissa because of her reaction.Clarissa panicked and hurriedly explained, “I‘m sorry. I was so tired from writing my thesis that I had notheard the question clearly—”

“Is that so? In that case, did you also plagiarise everything from my thesis because of your fatigue? Youdidn‘t write a single word of that thesis!” Naomi interrupted Clarissa rudely. Her outrageous claimshocked everyone like a clap of thunder.

“Naomi, stop spewing nonsense! Can a failure like you write such a thesis?!”

.

Johnson was so furious and scolded Naomi angrily. Meanwhile, Clarissa quickly calmed down after theinitial panic. She remembered that she had destroyed all evidence of her plagiarism. “Naomi, you shouldknow when to stop! Show us some evidence to support your claims! I dare

you!”

“I do have evidence!” Naomi curled her lips. She raised her hand and snapped her fingers.
