When Scott found out that Lilian had an affair, Clarissa was arrested, and his expected son was not his,but he did not care at all. However, he could not stand by the side knowing that he was no longer thechairman of Green Corp. It meant that he would lose so much money, which to him, was his life, andnow, Naomi was taking away his life from him.
“Chairman? A chairman without any shares?” Naomi scoffed. She switched on the screen again. “I’mgoing to show everyone today that you had sold and transferred the corporation’s share when thecorporation was in trouble. Do you think you are worthy to become the chairman when you sold off yourshares in exchange for cash? You are a traitor to the corporation!”
“I…” Scott did not know how to refute it. The screen was showing the different times when Scott sold hisshares. The evidence proved that he had sold off the shares the most during the time when Green Corpwas in trouble.
Not only were the employees from Green Corp furious, but even those from the same industries werealso angered by Scott’s despicable action.
“Letting your own daughter settle the danger while you took the opportunity to bail yourself out! I havenever seen such a shameful and despicable chairman before!” Anger ripped through all theshareholders. Finally, someone could not endure it any longer.” You jerk! Get off the stage!”

As things got heated, Scott did not feel regret or thought that he was wrong. He still scolded and blamedNaomi. To him, he did nothing wrong. If there was anyone who was wrong, then it was all Naomi’s fault.
She should just obey his words and resign from being the CEO of Green Corp.

Scott did not think that he made any mistakes. He was just afraid of the crowd and trying to save his ownlife.
Looking at how humbly and lowly her father was, Naomi felt very complicated and struggled to move on.A voice in her mind kept on reminding her, not to go soft with him. While another voice rang in her mindconcurrently saying that she should forgive him because he was her father.
