"I'm fine, sir. And who might you be?" Lachlan waved his hand to show that he was okay andpolitely asked.
The man in military uniform saluted Lachlan and said, "I am Mr. Harris' deputy, Ralphie Palmer. Mr.Willis, you can call me Ralphie."
"So you're Mr. Palmer. Thank you for your help," Lachlan smiled.
Ralphie replied with a nod and then enthusiastically said, "Please let me take you to the villa, Mr.Willis."
After someone gave this villa to Zak as a gift, Ralphie took care of all the details smoothly.
He looked coldly at the security guards and gestured to his soldiers below him saying, "Let them go;they are just some lowlifes."
Then he led Lachlan and Reeva into Emerald Green Estates and arrived at Villa A1!
This villa was situated on the highest ground in this area of villas giving it an unparalleled view overeverything else around it.
It came with its own garden courtyard complete with swimming pool and other amenities!
Moreover, it had already been decorated so one can move in anytime they wanted.
According to Ralphie's introduction, this villa plus decoration was once offered 50 million dollars butZak refused to sell it.
Now it had been given as a gift to Lachlan which showed how grateful Zak was for him curing hisdaughter!
However, deep down inside Lachlan sighed: He had just contacted Zak about launching his newmedicine earlier today; yet this afternoon someone from his team brought over the paperwork alongwith keys for the villa - making him feel like he owed something back!
Meanwhile, on the other side, as Lachlan and Ralphie entered Emerald Green Estates, Claudia andthe rest of them including the sales lady were all dumbfounded.novelbin
One by one, they all looked a little silly!
Looking at the jeep with military special license plates and several armed soldiers, no one doubtedtheir identity.
Ralphie's respectful attitude towards Lachlan just now made Claudia's face change constantly.
The last time it was Rowan, this time it was a military officer. Why were they all so polite when theysaw Lachlan?
Was a mere gigolo from the Lowe family really that prestigious?

"What... what's going on? Does Lachlan really know these military people?" Maisie asked insurprise as she stared at Lachlan walking in.
"How is that possible? How could someone like Mr. Harris give a villa to this poor guy?" Tom shookhis head repeatedly as if he had been struck hard.
"It's impossible! Absolutely impossible!"
"Maybe it is possible. We can just go in and take a look! After all, you guys are here to buy villas tooright? Why not come in together?" The sales lady looked at Tom hopefully after hearing him say hewanted to buy villas earlier. She had set her sights on him now.
Whoever bought it, as long as she can earn a commission, it was fine.
"Yes! Good son-in-law, we're here to buy a house today anyway, let's go in and take a look!" Adam'seyes lit up at the suggestion.
"Let's go see! I don't believe that the commander would give Lachlan a house. Maybe this poor guyjust knows some soldiers and is trying to show off to us!" Maisie rolled her eyes but still couldn'tbelieve that someone like Zak would give Lachlan a villa.
"Yes, honey, let's follow them and take a look!" Claudia agreed with Maisie. She was filled withresentment at seeing how well Lachlan was doing now.
"Okay then, let's go in and check out the houses too," Tom nodded his head in agreement afterhesitating for a moment.
The group followed closely behind Lachlan and his two companions as they walked into theluxurious villa.
"This... is actually Villa No. 1 in Block A! Did Mr. Harris really give this villa to him?" Thesaleswoman exclaimed incredulously upon hearing this news.
Claudia and her family were all shocked by what they heard - disbelief mixed with envy andjealousy written across their faces.
"Has this poor boy become rich now?" Maisie muttered.
Claudia's face turned sour as she stared at the villa for a long time before looking at Tom withpleading eyes. "Honey, I want a villa too! Can you buy me one?"
"Exactly! It's not impressive if someone else gives it to you. Buying it yourself shows real strength!"Adam snorted, acting like he didn't care.
"Sir, would you like to take a look around?" The saleswoman's eyes lit up as she looked at Tom,hoping for a big commission.
She knew she couldn't rely on Lachlan anymore and could only hope that Tom would buy one fromher.
"Well... haha, sure! Let's take a look and see if there is anything suitable." Tom laughed awkwardlybut eventually waved his hand grandly and said.
"Honey, you're amazing!" Claudia beamed with joy upon hearing this and clung onto Tom's arm inan affectionate manner.
After spending the afternoon touring the villa with Lachla, Ralphie helped him take care of theaccess cards. Once everything was settled, Zak's subordinate left.
"I can finally live in a big house with Nora," Lachlan said contentedly as he stood in the nearly 100square meter living room.
Meanwhile, on the other side...
"Heh, Mr. Bennett, I've been showing you around all afternoon. Are you going to buy or not?" Thesaleswoman looked at Tom impatiently and with a hint of annoyance.
She thought he would be a big client but instead she had spent almost an entire afternoon showinghim and his group around every unsold villa here without any intention to buy.
"Um... let me see! Let me see..." Tom stammered.
"You still want to see? We've already toured the entire Emerald Green Estates from top to bottom! Ifyou really want it, just put down a deposit! Tsk tsk... you were even saying that Mr. Willis was afraudster earlier but now it seems like you're just wasting my time." The saleswoman scoffed at him."You're broke aren't you? What are you pretending for?"
The saleswoman was getting fed up with Tom's excuses and evasions, and she couldn't help butsneer at him. She felt like she had wasted her entire afternoon.
Tom's face turned sour as he retorted, "Who said I can't afford it? I just haven't found the right oneyet."
Claudia became anxious upon hearing this. "What do you mean, Tom? Who said there isn't asuitable one? I've already picked out several that I like! Even Lachlan, who's dirt poor, lives here.Why can't we?"
"Come on now, Claudia. Let's take another look," Tom coughed awkwardly as he tried to placateher.
Adam looked at his son-in-law skeptically and asked pointedly, "What exactly are you trying to pullhere? Did you bring us here today just to string us along?"
