"Just look at yourself, what are you?!" Harlow jumped out again and pointed at Lachlan with disdain.

"Willis, who do you think you are to criticize others?"

"That's right. If it weren't for you, Mr. Austin would not have been really angry!"

Lachlan chuckled, "Alright, so all I have to do is unfreeze the company account? Leave it to me! If Ican do it, will you stop pressuring my wife?"

"Fine then, if you can unfreeze the account within a week, I won't pressure Miranda anymore!Otherwise, she'll marry Isa and you should stay as far away as possible," Victoria said dismissively.

Lachlan replied confidently,"Not in a week - tomorrow! Tomorrow I will unfreeze the account!"

"Hah... did I hear that right? You think you're almighty now? If you can really do it tomorrow thenfrom now on we'll call you brother-in-law or even dad! But if not... you should kneel down and learnhow to bark like a dog because what you say is nothing more than hot air," said Harlowaggressively.

"Honey, do you believe in me?" Despite what others said about him, Lachlan turned to look atMiranda.

He did all this for her; if she didn't believe in him either, then his heart would truly be cold.

"Mhmm, I believe in you." Miranda bit her lip and nodded firmly.

"Miranda, you've really been fooled by this man's sweet talk! I can't believe you still believe him. It'shilarious!" Harlow mocked loudly.

Others shook their heads, feeling that the Lowe family's renowned businesswoman had been fooledby this guy.

On the way home with Miranda...

The beautiful CEO's mood remained low.

"Lachlan, what are you going to do to unfreeze the company account?" Miranda hesitated for amoment before asking.

"It's simple. Which bank executive is responsible for freezing our account? We'll invite him to lunchtomorrow afternoon," Lachlan said casually.

Hearing this, Miranda exclaimed in disappointment and her eyes showed a hint of disdain. "Just likethat? Invite him to lunch and beg for mercy? I've checked it out. The person in charge is OttoGallagher, the manager of Absolute Bank and Kayden's cousin. Their relationship is so close; howcould we possibly win him over with just one meal?"

"Rest assured, I'll call a friend. My friend's great," Lachlan chuckled.

Upon hearing this, Miranda let out a sigh in her heart.

She didn't understand where Lachlan's confidence came from. What kind of friend could have suchgreat influence? Could they be more powerful than Kayden's cousin?

Miranda knew that Lachlan had some connection with Erik, but even if it was Erik, he wouldn't beable to pull off something like this.

The Lowe family couldn't afford to offend the Austin family. Could they really afford to offend theWard family?

With Isa as their backing, Otto wasn't afraid of anyone and didn't need to give anyone face!

"Well... Mr. Gallagher, my husband and I were thinking of treating you to lunch today. Would that bepossible?" Miranda changed her tone and asked with a pleading voice.

"Lunch? I don't know if..." Otto was about to refuse but Kayden gave him a look signaling him toaccept.

"Alright then. Where should we go?" Otto smiled knowingly.

After Otto hung up the phone, Kayden had a mischievous smirk on his face as he said, "Haha!Miranda and her little boy toy actually want to treat you out for lunch?"

"They're really pushing their luck!"

"Why not accept? This is our chance to humiliate them both - especially that little boy toy!"

Thinking back to the last time he was humiliated, Kayden decided to get revenge this time around.
