“Your son? Since when did you have a son? Can’t you read this? It’s a DNA report! Don’t you knowwhat it is?” Selena pulled out the DNA test results once again. “This report matched both Jojo’sgenes and mine to prove that I’m his biological mother!”
“No! I’m his mother! That’s my child! He belongs to Pierre and me! He’s mine!” Meredith soundedlike she was about to lose her voice as she howled and cried at the top of her lungs.
“Stop lying to yourself and the rest of us, Meredith. You sure are great at acting, huh? Should Ireveal all of your embarrassing incidents right here? Great. Where should I start? Hmm… Why don’twe start with who you slept with?” Selena uttered.
Meredith’s eyes were terror-stricken as she glared at Selena.
“You’re a good girl at home, but you’re a totally different person when you’re outside. You like itwhen you have men around you, and you enjoy the feeling of being admired and sought after bymen. Unfortunately, there was this one time you went out with a few chaps. You guys drank a littletoo much, and you ended up getting in bed with someone. It ruined your body—”
“You’re lying!” Meredith shouted furiously. Everyone in the crowd was dumbfounded right then; theyhadn’t expected their beloved female idol to have such a terrible past.
“I’ve found all the men who were involved in that incident. Should I get them over to confront youright now? You’ve been paying them money to shut their mouths all these years, but you laterrealized that you couldn’t afford to fulfill their demands forever. Therefore, you found another way tostop them from pestering you—you sent two of these men to prison and broke another man’s leg.You were obsessed with Pierre, and you had pictures of him everywhere in your house. This onetime, you and Megan tried to get me in bed with another man, but the both of you hadn’t expectedthat man to be Pierre himself. The two of you wanted to keep this a secret, but later, you found outthat I was pregnant. That was why you decided to go along with the plan—you figured you would lie
and claim that it was your baby once I’ve given birth. Coincidentally, you were also pregnant duringthat period, so you aborted your child and left to a faraway place where you recovered and healedyour body. Everything that Selena said was true. Meredith lay flat on the ground as she kept quiet the wholeway through. Everything that she said is true.
“You were trying to become the young lady of the Fowler Family using my children. You even toldme that both my sons had died and that all I had left was a daughter. You’re so cruel and heartless,Meredith!” Selena hissed through gritted teeth. At that moment, she desperately wanted to skinMeredith alive. “Worst of all, you even thought of framing me after murdering my son just so thatyou could stop me from being with Pierre! You wanted the Fowlers to come after me.” Then, Selenalet out a cold snort. “You snatched my son away, and you’re trying to snatch my man away now. Doyou think I’m going to let you go so easily?” The live stream was cut off after that. By now, the entireaward ceremony had turned into a complete farce.
“No. That’s not it. You guys can’t trust this woman. Don’t trust her!” Meredith howled. Despite herdesperation, her protests were weak and unconvincing.

At the same time, Pierre was seated in front of the television to watch the live stream of the awardceremony. He had been invited to the event, but he chose not to show up as he had never enjoyedattending such events. Thus, he only decided to turn on the live stream after Niall called him andtold him that something had occurred during the award ceremony, but by the time he turned the livestream on, it had already been cut off.

As those insults were thrown at her, Meredith felt her head spinning. The crowd’s discussion wasloud and angry, and their voices seemed to surround and envelope her. Then, someone decided tobe the first person to stand up and voice their opinion. “Meredith needs to leave the entertainmentindustry!”
