Alyssa raised her eyebrows. She was completely indifferent to Sophia’s mockery.
“I treat others the way they treat me. I speak politely to those who are polite to me and straightforwardto those who are rude. What does that have to do with leeching onto others?”
Sophia’s face turned red. She was completely frustrated.
“Ms. White, my mom is your senior. How can you be so disrespectful?!” Betty immediately refuted afterseeing her mother being humiliated. She looked like a mad dog on a leash.
Alyssa chuckled coldly.
Betty inherited Sophia’s calculating nature, but she wasn’t cunning. She couldn’t be bothered with sucha shallow woman and didn’t want to waste time on her.
Sean couldn’t take it anymore and stepped forward sternly, blocking Alyssa. “Everyone could see whostarted it. It’s clear who tried to stir up trouble!”
“Huh! Not only do you have Mr. Taylor to back you up, but also this gentleman here. You have quite thearmy of men ready to fend you, Ms. White,” Liana taunted from the side.
“Liana, it’s easy for you to spread rumors. But have you considered the consequences? Are you willingto pay the price?” Alyssa’s sharp gaze pierced through her icily.
Liana’s heart shrank slightly. She used to think Alyssa was just a simple and weak country girl. Butnow, she felt afraid of her. The more she got to know her, the more unpredictable she seemed.
“Ms. White, I sincerely feel that your appearance here is very untimely. We’re only looking out for you,”Rosaline said sarcastically. Then, she smiled viciously. “After all, you got involved in Lia and Jasper’srelationship. And it was all because of your ignorance. It ended up with you in an

was married to him, Mrs. Gardner? Do you need me to list how she clung to my husband?”
Rosaline and Liana’s faces turned pale in an instant.
Liana was so frightened that she fell silent. Even though she was in Mosgravia during those three
years, she still tried every means to meddle in their relationship.
