“Well, Mr. Beckett Senior, my dad might have been a capable judge, but he wasn’t very diplomatic. I’llapologize to you on behalf of his actions,” Simon hurriedly apologized.

him?”

“Isn’t it a fundamental requirement for a judge to be fair and firm? Were you suggesting he was wrongwhen you apologized?”
“I … It’s a misunderstanding. I didn’t mean that.” Simon was left chuckling dryly.
