Rubbing the slipper mark on her forehead, Betty stormed back to her bedroom.
“Alyssa Taylor, I will not let this slide!” She was panting heavily, her eyes red from the anger. Shebelatedly questioned the reason Alyssa was at Seaview Manor.
Did Jasper bring her home? What was that supposed to mean?
Did he plan to rekindle the old flame and get back together with her?

Startled, Jasper pursed his lips. He was rarely at home because of his busy schedule. Therefore,
he had no idea that Betty had been cruel to Lauren. Apparently, Betty was putting on the act of a
