Axel clutched Amber's hands as they fled down the luxurious corridor with dangers lurking at every corner. Running with awoman in tow did not affect his efficacy at all. He gunned down each man who ran after them with precision.
Aman suddenly jumped them from the left before Axel had the tto turn around. Amber, in his defense, aimed her hairpin at theman's throat and slit it. Blood splattered around, tainting her dress.
Axel stared squarely at her, his heart hammering against his ribs. The affection in his gaze intensified.
