“Can’t you just wait a little longer? Once Layla takes over Collins Group, the Evans family will once

Sarah asked, “What about Layla?”
“We’ll leave her be, but we can’t let Eddy know about this. Eddy seems to be treating Layla a lot colder

Kirk was talking to Edith downstairs. When he heard noises upstairs, he raised his head and asked,
“Are you awake?”

work.”
Kirk held her down and advised, “Cheryl will be there handling things, so don’t worry. You seem really
tired, so you’d better rest at home today.”

The two were chatting when Edith walked over with the phone. “Madam, Ms. Weiss is calling. She said
she has something to ask you.
