“You’re really close with Layla Aren’t you, Viv? You’re even going to visit her su soon.” Caroline folded
her arms, sneering at Vivian, who was surrounded by her envious followers.
When they heard her sneer, one of them immediately glared at her like a loyal dog protecting its owner
“What are you laughing at? Oh, I know. Are you jealous that Viv can visit Evans Group while you can’t
even step foot there?”
Caroline almost laughed out loud at the person’s words. She didn’t have the energy to keep talking to
these idiots. Instead, she asked, “ What are you doing here, Mr. Jack?”

“Caroline.” Vivian interrupted Jack.
She approached Caroline and said, “If you want to go to Evans Group, I can take you there.”
Caroline grimaced slightly. “Why do you need to do that in the first place?”
“Because they wouldn’t let you into the building.”
“I can just let myself in.” Caroline crossed her arms and looked down at Vivian.
Vivian’s smile froze, and she asked, “What did you say?”
“Evans Group is mine. I can just let myself in,” Caroline repeated herself with a raised brow.
Vivian’s expression shifted, but she scolled immediately. “You’ve lost your mind. Evans Group can’t be
yours.”
“Why not? I’m a member of the Evans family, so why can’t I be the CEO?” Caroline laughed.
“Aren’t you and Layla good friends? Didn’t she tell you that I won the election?”
“No way!”
Vivian went ballistic. “How can you be Evans Group’s CEO? Layla has Mr. Eddy supporting her! Who
do you think you are?”
Caroline smiled disdainfully at her words. She said, “It’s good you’re here, Mr. Jack. Help me pack my
things.”
Jack froze for a moment before replying, “All right.”
“Wait!” Vivian blocked Caroline’s way.
She argued, “Are you leaving in such a hurry because you’re afraid your lie will be exposed? I’ve
already seen your resignation letter. You must have made a big mistake for Mr. Hawkins to fire you. Inovelbin
can’t believe you’re saying you’re Evans Group’s CEO. You’re just shameless.”
“Who’s being shameless?” Jules had heard Vivian’s volce from a distance and guessed she was
probably fighting with Caroline.
