“Yes,” Caroline said, matching Brittany’s attitude. She opened the email she’d received from
that mystery person.
“I was kidnapped by someone a month ago, but I managed to escape. Later on, I found out that the pe
ople who kidnapped me were hired by my mother.”
There wasn’t a single change in Brittany’s expression.
“Perfect. If we post this piece of evidence online and hire some bloggers to get it circulating, we can get
more people to know about the truth. Things will likely settle down in less than three days.”
Caroline smiled slightly. “This isn’t what I want.”

“No.” Caroline got up. She handed a laptop to Brittany. “After the accusations blew up, this happened to
