Lilac was not sure, whether she would die because of the pain or she was going to die because ofthe pleasure she got from Hunter.

Hunter explained himself about why they were still in the open area.
“Hm…” Lilac nuzzled against the crook of his n*eck and then k*ssed his him. “How long I have beensleeping?” her voice was still very weak, but she thought all of her training with Hunter was paid offnow.
“Two hours,” Hunter replied. “Is it still very painful?”
If it was her before, she wouldn’t have been able to wake up within a few days. “Not really… I amsleepy.”
“Sleep, little one, I will take you back to the pack house later.”
“Hm.” Lilac snuggled against his chest and was thankful that Hunter was thoughtful enough to puton her dress, so she wouldn’t get cold. She became even more and more comfortable in thisposition when suddenly Hunter’s b*dy went stiff. “Hm? What happened?” She was about to fall
asleep when suddenly Hunter moved away from her. He laid her down on the cloak that was placedbeneath her.
“What are you doing here?” Hunter asked someone.

However, Hunter didn’t answer her question, instead he stood up and shielded Lilac behind hisback, as he faced this man.
“What now? Don’t tell me you have marked that outsider?” he scoffed disdainfully. “I still can’tbelieve you are the alpha of the pack. Your father will cry out of humiliation in his grave.”
“What do you want, Kellan?” Hunter asked, coldness laced in voice, as one could feel the anger thatemanated from his b*dy. He looked like he was going to kill this person right in this instant.

Meanwhile, Lilac couldn’t understand with the anger that came from Hunter. Was he an enemy?Why he was being very rude with Hunter when he was the alpha?
“I want you to get my daughter out of the dungeon.” The man named Kellan posted his request. Hehad been banned to enter the pack house, but thankfully, he knew where to find the alpha and rightnow was the perfect moment to demand his request, since Hunter had been avoiding him all thistime.
Hunter narrowed his eyes. “I am sure you know the answer that I will give to you.” His voice was ascold as the cold wind in the winter coupled with killing intent that emanated from his b*dy.
This feeling made Lilac a little bit restless, she immediately stood up too and was very grateful onceagain because Hunter had put dress on her, or else, she would be n*ked in front of this stranger.
“Lilac, go back to the pack house,” Hunter said in deep voice. His eyes were still fixed on Kellan.
“Do you really think you can go back to the pack house?” Kellan raised his brows and then heclapped his hands.
From the dark, emerged at least fifteen beasts.
Hunter widened his eyes in surprised, because he couldn’t sense their presence. until recently, butthen they looked even more dangerous,
“What is this, Kellan?” Hunter growled viciously. “Are you trying to revolt?”
