“You are feisty, do you know that? Hunter asked in an amusement smile on the corner of his l*ps.
“Let go,” Lilac said, she was tired with the way he held her like this. He used the fact that he wasway stronger than her to get what he wanted.
“Where do you want to go?” Hunter asked again, he still didn’t let go of her hand, instead, he pulledher closer. “Stay here, you will not like it to be in the pack house now,” he said mysteriously, whichmade Lilac frowned.
*What do you mean with that?” Lilac felt uneasy to see how bright he was smiling right now. She feltlike he had planned something, a devious one if she could say. “What else did you say to Aidenwhen he came here.
“Why are you jumping into that conclusion?” Hunter looked hurt, but Lilac didn’t believe his charadeeven for a second. There must be more into it.
“What the hell did you talk to Aiden?” Lilac was trying to keep her temper in check, but it was gettinghard and hard when she had to face this alpha.
“I didn’t say anything more than what I have already told you,” Hunter replied truthfully. “But,apparently your so called mate, make a fuss over it.” novelbin
“What do you mean?” Lilac felt uneasiness grew and she became more and more upset becauseHunter was talking in riddle. “Do you know something? You must know what is going on.”
Hunter didn’t answer her immediately, but he simply caressed her cheek, which made Lilac flinchedand was about to protest to not touch her, but he spoke casually.

Lilac was stunned. She needed some time to process the information when she heard it fromHunter. “You are lying.” There was no way Aiden wanted to throw her out of the pack house. “Youmust have told him- something that’s not true.”

The smile on Hunter’s face disappeared almost immediately when he heard that. “Am I that awful ofa person in your eyes for you to actually accuse me for telling lie? I am an alpha, I might haveteased and fooled around here and there, but I will not tell lie, especially to this unimportant thingthat doesn’t matter to me. What do you think will I get if I ruin your already ruined relationship withthat shitty man you called mate?”
Lilac was tongue tied when Hunter asked the question, she knew this alpha wouldn’t get anythingby lying to her and she would be a person, who was full of herself if she insisted otherwise. Hunterliked to joke around, but this matter about her relationship and Aiden didn’t concern him at all.
However, Lilac was not in the mood to indulge with this conversation. She needed to go to see it byherself. “Let go of me, I want to go back to the pack house.”
“You don’t have place anymore there.” This was not his pack, but of course, he wouldn’t be soclueless about what was going on, especially when the future alpha of this pack had been actingvery immature. “But, if you want to go. You can leave.” He finally let go of her hand and watchedLilac stood Hurry to leave and see it for herself whether or not what Hunter said was right.

Lilac was in disbelief and she wouldn’t believe anything he said until she saw it with her own eyesand Hunter was wise enough to play his card carefully. He didn’t need to put a lot of effort onconvincing Lilac when she would see it with her own eyes, she didn’t have a place in this pack anylonger.
In a way, Aiden made thing easier for Hunter.
“Lilac,” Hunter called her name before she left the bedroom,
Lilac stopped reluctantly and turned her b*dy around to face him again. “What is it?”
“My offer still stands,” Hunter said with seriousness. “You can come to my pack.”
Hearing that. Lilac didn’t feel at ease at all, but she forced a smile on her l*ps. “Thank you,” she saidcurtly, which was not sincere at all. “But, I wish this will be the last time we meet with each other.”And after saying that, she then left.
Little did she know, she would need his help in the near future and how she put her little life in hispalm..
Lilac couldn’t believe what she heard from Aria when she came to her bedroom and watch how herthings had been destroyed or tossed out.
Aria was crying when she told her everything. Apparently, Aiden came to her room three hours agoand did all of this and right now, he was in the main hall, pleading with his father to banish her fromthe pack.
“Luna Jasmine and I had tried to stop him, but he was so furious and we can’t do anything, asidefrom watching and waiting for him to be done here, I am sorry, Lilac, Aria said through tears.
“It’s okay, it’s not your fault.” Lilac tried to smile to assure Aria that she was not in the wrong. Ifanything, it should be Aiden, who should apologize to her, even now, she had not yet received hissincere apology and heard how remorseful he was for what he had done and how he broke themate bond between them. It was him, who had shattered the sacred of the mate bond by being notloyal.
Right at that time, a warrior came to inform Lilac that she was summoned to the main hall.
