“I will find some time to talk with Lilac,” Luna Jasmine maintained her gentle smile, though her eyes.pierced through Ruby’s, as she didn’t like this woman to come in between Aiden and his destinedmate.
“Control your expression,” Alpha James said to his sone, because right now, Hunter and Lilac werewalking toward them to greet all the alphas and lunas.
However, it almost felt like the alpha lycan was introducing his future luna, as Lilac was wearing thedress. with their style and this made luna Jasmine frowned. What happened with the dress that shegave to her? Why she was wearing this one? Did she intentionally do that to upset Aiden? “What are you doing?!” Aiden snapped at Ruby when the woman was following him. She waswearing a plain blue dress that luna Jasmine could find in the last minute.
“I. I don’t know anyone there and luna Jasmine told me to go, so I follow you,” Ruby said in smallvoice, she was so scared because Aiden had been so angry lately. He had never been by her sideand if he came, it only to ask about the baby in her stomach, nothing else. He didn’t even careabout her, whether she could adjust in this new pack or not.
Everyone didn’t treat her badly, but surely they were so reluctant to associate themselves with her.They would rather treat her as if she didn’t exist and ignore her.
“Stay away from me, Ruby, I am really mad right now. Don’t follow me.” What Aiden said was soclear that he didn’t want to have anything to do with this woman, aside from the baby in herstomach. She held no value in his eyes, once the baby was born.
However, it would only complicate thing because he needed to take her as the future luna, sinceshe gave birth to his heir. The alpha’s firstborn was really important, as the baby would continue theline.

“Scram, Ruby! I don’t want to see you!”
The loud music out there sounded so distance, Ruby felt so detached from the festivity, becausewhat she saw right now was only a gloomy side of this pack.
