Lilac gulped down, she looked around and was sure if the battle happened, Hunter wouldn’t be able totake this many lycan on his own and she wouldn’t be much help at all. Not to mention how she was inpain, even if she was in her best condition, she wouldn’t be able to fight a beast!
Lilac was sure if they started fighting, she would be the first person, who was killed without a doubt.She grimaced to think her life would end here when she thought she just started to find happiness.
Without doubt, Kellan must be Grace’s father and he was trying to revolt against Hunter to get hisdaughter back, but what puzzled Lilac was; why Hunter was very adamant to not let go of Grace when
their life was in danger?

“After your threat, do you think I will believe you will let me out of here alive?” Hunter was not a fool. Heknew Kellan asking of his daughter was a mere excuse to meet him here. “What do you want?”

Lilac furrowed her brows when she heard that, she looked back and forth between Hunter and Kellan.Where the accusation came from? Everyone knew it was Aiden, who had killed Hunter’s father.Moreover, why would Hunter kill his own father?
However, to Lilac’s surprise, Hunter admitted it.

Kellan scrunched his brows. He didn’t understand what Hunter meant with what he was saying. He onlyhad a daughter, therefore, he doted on her so much, seeing her suffering because Hunter rejected herlove was already difficult enough, but right now, he witnessed it with his own eyes, how he had markedan outsider. which meant, there was no hope anymore.
If his daughter couldn’t get him, no one should have him and as a revenge, he would take Hunterdown. This was a plan that he had concocted long time ago, actually, despite the matter with Grace.
He thought, it would be more smooth and have less blood if Hunter accepted Grace, but this youngman was really stubborn.
