“What do
you mean he asked for Lilac for a symbol of peace! She is a person, not a thing.” Luna Jasmine didn’tlook pleased at all when she heard about that. She had disliked the alpha lycan ever since she laid hereyes on him.
In her eyes, that kind of attitude and how laid back he was, made it hard for everyone to give himrespect. He looked so easy going.
At the very least, his father was an ambitious alpha, who knew what he wanted and what he needed todo to achieve his goal, but Hunter was the opposite.
He looked like someone, who didn’t take anything seriously. It was a good thing. Aiden managed to killhis father, because it looked like, it was easier to deal with Hunter.
However, luna Jasmine made a huge mistake to think that way.
“What do you mean a symbol of peace?” Luna Jasmine demanded her mate to claborate further whathe meant with that because her guts feeling told her this was not something she would like.
“Jasmine, I know you really fond of Lilac, but you need to be more logical here. This is a pack matter,you can’t get your personal feeling involved in this decision.” Alpha James turned his chair and facedhis mate’s unhappy expression.
“I didn’t say anything, I only want to know what do you mean that alpha Hunter wanted Lilac as asymbol of peace? I have never heard that term before,” luna Jasmine retorted, but her expression sawher inner thought
It was not that luna Jasmine didn’t have any idea about it, though she had never heard such term, shemust have figured out what it meant, since she was very shrewd, but she was in denial that Aidencouldn’t end up together with Lilacnovelbin
“Alpha Hunter used that term to soften the meaning. He wanted Lilac to be a hostage in his pack, if Ihave to put it bluntly.” Alpha James sighed deeply when he watched how dark his mate’s expressionhad rurned.
“What do you mean she became a hostage? Did he ask the other five pack to do the same thing? Didhe ask the other pack to hand over their women?” The crease between luna Jasmine’s browsdeepened when she heard such unpleasant explanation. She had figured it out, but the fact hersuspicion was proven right. didn’t make her happy at all.
“No. He didn’t ask the other pack to hand over their woman. He only asked for our pack to give Lilac.”Alpha James used to tell everything to luna Jasmine and her words held so much value for the alpha inmaking a decision
Even though alpha James would be the decision maker, but luna Jasmine’s involvement had a big rolein the decision,

“He said, because the battle between the lycan and the werewolf, which our side involved six packs init, he only wanted one representative and he wanted it from our pack.” Alpha James frowned deeply.He also found this suspicious that alpha Hunter specifically only asked for his pack.
We can send another girl. There is no need to be Lilac for that,”
However, alpha James shook his head, if the problem could be solved easily, he wouldn’t have had aheadache right now, knowing his mate would react like this. “He specifically wanted Lilac.”
“Why?!” Luna Jasmine was almost hysterical when she heard that. She was against this idea. “Why heonly wanted Lilac?”
“Alpha Hunter didn’t give a specific explanation. He only asked for her because she was the onlyperson he knew in this pack.”
“We can introduce him to someone else, there is no need for Lilac to go to the other pack,” lunaJasmine said adamantly. She would fight for Lilac to stay in this pack and find a way to make Lilacaccepted Aiden
back.
However, alpha James shook his head again. “You don’t understand, Jasmine. Alpha Hunter onlywanted to stir trouble. You can see now that he didn’t care about the woman and you know, he didn’treally need someone to be a hostage in his pack. This idea just came up all of sudden because of theruckus that Aiden raised in the main hall.”
Luna Jasmine didn’t talk back this time, she was deep in thought. “He only wanted to upset Aiden in away to take his mate, right? He still has vendetta with the fact Aiden had killed his father.”
“Yes.“James nodded. “That’s what me and the other five alphas suspected. He only wanted to createinconvenient for Aiden. This is his way to get his revenge after the peace treaty.”
“No way..” Juna Jasmine was in disbelieve. “That’s such a lame excuse. There is no way someone likethe lycan would do something to that extent.” Luna Jasmine took a step back, but her eyes still lingeredon her mate’s. “What about the other alphas? What they said about this matter?”
If the other alphas complained, there was a huge chance that luna Jasmine could turn the table to herfavor and Lilac didn’t need to go to the lycan pack.
“The other alphas had agreed with the decision.”
Of course, they were agreed!
“Yes.
“What?!”
Actually, this was not a shocking news, luna Jasmine must have anticipated it if she was not tooemotional.
“They don’t lose anything, Jasmine if we hand over Lilac to Hunter, as she will represent the whole sixpack if she came with alpha Hunter and live in his pack.” Alpha James then added grimly. “Not tomention what Aiden had done. They thought it’s a win win situation, where Aiden wanted to banishLilac and alpha Hunter wanted to take the woman as a symbol of a peace treaty between our packs.”
