At first, alpha James planned to ask Ruby to come seeing him in the afternoon, having a lunch like theyused to, but when he was about to return to his bedroom, somehow his feet took him to his grandson’sroom, in which Ruby’s room was next to it.
That was when he heard her cry. She was crying silently in the beginning, but then her cries becamemore palpable.
“Ruby?” Alpha James tried to call her because he was worried there was someone sneaking inside herbedroom. “Ruby, are you inside?”
Ruby didn’t seem to hear him, but because of the urgency of the situation, alpha James decided to takean action right now, as he entered the bedroom without any sound and found her writhing on the bed,she looked like she was in so much agony.
Alpha James looked around, trying to find any threats or any danger that had caused her pain, butthere was no one inside the room, aside from the two of them.
In that case, why would Ruby in so much pain? He couldn’t understand and then try to wake her up. Heshook her body and tried gauge the situation.

“Ruby! Ruby!” Alpha James called her name loudly, trying to get her back to reality, but it was not easyto get her attention, because she kept thrashing in her sleep, she almost looked like someone juststabbed her and skinned her alive, if that even made
