“Hunter, what if you made a compromise?” Lilac wanted to laugh when she saw the alpha made a facewhen he heard that. He must have never heard the word of compromise, since he would get what hewanted or schemed his way to get it, either way, he would get a grip of the thing he wanted in the end.
There was no compromise for him. It was his way or no way.
Therefore, it would be a challenge for Lilac to convince him to agree with her. She was not sure how itwould end up, but at the very least she needed to try.

Lilac gulped down with difficulty, because it seemed, she was terrible at acting for Hunter to be able totell that she was only pretending.

“I really like the necklace,” Lilac replied confidently. She indeed liked the necklace, but not to the point,she would think about it. She was fine without it though.
“Hm. Stay inside.” Hunter nodded and then told the coachmen to stop the carriage, after that hepersonally went out of the carriage and met with Aiden again. The latter had been running to catch upwith him and this was very humiliating.
Meanwhile, Lilac peeked through the curtain and watched Hunter and Aiden were negotiatingsomething, which upset the latter.
