It took them a while, but the ladies eventually decided on the names. Jude named Selena’s daughteras Aqua. Water was soothing and calming, and Jude wanted Selena’s daughter to be as gentle aswater.

“What do you think?” Jude was proud about her naming sense. “I think Aqua’s a nice name. Has a ringto it, don’t you think? She’s going to be your lucky star.”

On the other hand, Selena froze up for a moment. “Um, this might be awkward.” “Why? What name didyou come up with?” Jude stared at her. “Ignis.” “Ignis?”

“Yeah. You’re a star, so I want you to shine bright like the sun. And your son might end up being acelebrity, so I want him to shine bright too. It’s for luck. And I hired a fortune teller to check his stars.Says he needs some spark in his name, so I thought ‘fire’ would do the trick.”

If the boy needed a bit of wood, she’d name him Silva, and if he needed some metal, she’d name himAurum. That was it. That was the logic behind Selena’s naming. There wasn’t any stupendous reason

like what Jude came up with.

Immediately, the women shot them a glare, and Pierre stopped laughing, while Charles slowly stoppedsmiling.

“What are you laughing at? We asked for help, but you said no! The dad’s supposed to be the one whocomes up with the names, so don’t you dare laugh!”

“Yeah! You know women get preoccupied with a lot of stuff when they have kids! All this brainstormingis supposed to be your work! And not only did you stay out of it, but you even laughed at us! How dareyou!”

Their arms akimbo, the women were shooting death glares at the men. Pierre did something either verybrave or very stupid. He retorted, “We did try to name them, but you ladies kept saying no!”

“So you’re saying it’s our fault now?” Selena glared at him. “You’re sleeping on the sofa tonight if youcan’t come up with a name for our kid!”novelbin

“And you!” Jude shot a dangerous look at Charles. “You thought I didn’t notice your smile? I know youwere holding it in!” Charles was flabbergasted. But I didn’t do anything? How is this my fault?

“Wow, life is hard.” Pierre plopped down on the sofa. “What did you say? I’m making life hard for you?Fine then! I’ll move out.” And then the couple started arguing. Subsequently, Jude got riled up too, andshe started fighting with Charles.
